Used this mostly for rc cars over the past 5 years, they’re absolutely great, haven’t had one rust or strip out on me. The only thing I wish is it came with m2.5 screws because they do seem to be very common at least in rc. Usually I can just use a 2mm and nut and washer and make it work, but because of this I’m now looking for a 2.5 set to add to it.

This is great for what it is. I've had a lot of cheap-o screws from Asia where the heads literally twist off or there is no socket for the hex key etc. This far I've had no issue with these screws and I've even torqued the M2s down pretty hard. This a the perfect varied of sizes and length + nuts and washers so I really can't ask for more. My only very minor complaint is - the packag is nice in theory but really cheap. It feels crappy judging this great product based on the packaging but the dividers easily break and come out of place. I'd pay a dollar more to have a slightly more sturdy package.But overall - I will def buy more of these in the future and highly recommend.

The company seems to have listened to the concerns regarding mixing of the product during shipping, and have modified their packaging accordingly. A sheet of bubble wrap under the lid, as well as some cellophane wrap wrapped tightly around the container, led to a perfectly separated assortment of high quality machined bolts, nuts, and washers arriving in my hand.A couple negatives, but not worth a loss of a star. The photo was a little misleading about the quantities of the smaller components included. Also, there's a little bit of oil on the parts. Probably better, that way, anyway, to prevent corrosion until I use them.

"DIY" as in you're going to have to sort it yourself, or at least I did. It's not that big of an issue, really, because it gives me something fun to do. I am blaming the wrath of the postal workers anyways.Pros:- The selection of screws is nice and exactly what I wanted.Cons:- Flimsy plastic container (-1 star from this point)- Very oily.Recommendations to seller:- Use a stronger container without the removable dividers.- Individually bag each type of screw.- Wash off the oil before selling, if possible.Recommendations to buyer:- It seems like most sellers on Amazon are using this flimsy plastic container with dividers, so don't bother looking around too hard.- Wash the container and screws with soap and water. Quickly dry the screws in between a towel and with a fan to prevent rusting.- Super glue the walls into the container.- The piece of paper might have oil on it as mine did. Print out a new one and tape it inside the container.

It’s a nice kit but when I got it I looked it over and decided it wouldn’t be useful for my needs! But nonetheless very nice.

Overall, the product was very well packaged. Not sure why others have complained about the packaging. I can only imagine that they got thrown around hard during shipment. Mine arrived in great shape, the whole thing was clear-wrapped. When unwrapped, there was a bubble wrap sheet under the cover to keep the separating walls from coming loose and screws getting mixed up. Everything was in its little cubby. The washers are also bagged by size so they wouldn't get mixed up anyway. I use it for 3D printed stuff and the black finish looks nice with certain colors. Overall, pretty happy with this set.

Unlike some other buyers, the set I received had the parts sorted in small baggies. The box dividers are a bit loose, as is the case with almost every box like it I've ever seen. Most moveable dividers just aren't made to keep tiny parts in place.There is a good assortment. I found one that fit the need I purchased it for. Will say there seems to be a size 'missing' between 1/4" and 3/4", but adding a couple of the washers took care of that for me.
