I got this pasta set to save my arms from the rolling pin and it definitely has done that! I can’t use the rolling pin anymore and the roller attachment was the main reason for my purchase.I first made a double batch of Chinese noodles. I did one batch on the thin cutter and the other on the wide cutter. With both of the cutters, every other noodle was partially cut but stuck together. It was easy enough to pull apart the wide ones but impossible to do with the thin. This could be because I’m a beginner and didn’t roll them thin enough. After eating them I felt the noodles were super delicious but too thick. I rolled it to a 5 because that was the recommendation of the noodle recipe I was using. Next time I’ll make Italian pasta with the recipe from the instructions in the box.I’ve also used it to roll out my olive oil cracker dough. It worked perfectly! Needed lots of flour because it was a soft dough but I’m so exited it worked. I rolled it down to #5 the 3rd thickest setting. It kept my crackers even thickness so they didn’t burn in the oven in the thin spots.Next I’m going to try rolling pie dough, lasagna, and potsticker wrappers.I’m glad I chose this model where the 3 parts are separate. This means I can use the roller without dirtying the cutters. I was debating getting a 3in1 machine but I’m glad I didn’t because it would be harder to clean. I used a dry bristled pastry brush to brush the roller and cutters clean. I found it easy to clean with the brush and dislodge a few small pieces at the edges with a knife.

I couldn't be happier with this purchase – it's a must-have for anyone that loves pasta like we do.

The media could not be loaded. Great for making homemade pasta. I've been wanting to try it forever, and this made it all seem much less daunting. There are different attachments for different pasta types, and even pasta recipes. Hooks right up to my mixer with no issues, and is so much easier and quicker than I expected. Comes with a cleaning brush as these are not water submersible.

I've been making pasta for years. At first, I rolled it out by hand and cut it with a knife. Then I got smart and bought a manual pasta machine that I could screw on to my table or the cutting board under my kitchen counter. Then, I moved and no more cutting board, and the table had been replaced with a new one that just didn't work with the manual machine. It was awful! Then I got brilliant and got the attachment for my Kitchen-Aid mixer. Oh, joy! Let the mixer do the hard work. I have two mixers, I let the Classic mixer roll out the pasta and I put that in the ravioli maker attachment and made ravioli. What used to be a whole weekend I can now do in a few minutes! These are good quality pasta rollers, too, and easily clean up with the included brush should any pasta stick. NEVER WASH PASTA ROLLERS! Bon appetite!

If you plan on buying, please be aware that it does have issues. First issue is the grease. They put some black grease or something inside the gear box. When you run your dough through the machine for the first time, you're going to get tons of black specs, so it is best to run some throw away dough through it first......like 40 times.The second problem is that only half of the Fettuccine noodles will cut all the way, and you pretty much have to sit there and pull apart half the noodles. This is the most annoying part and IMO it's not worth $80.

This is probably the worst thing I've ever purchased on amazon and am shocked at reviews. We must have not received the same item.This item does not properly fit on the KitchenAid Mixer, it actually slightly ruined ours from the wonky movements while it is on because it does not properly fit.The adjustment knob is on backwards and the rollers themselves make the worst of sounds while on.Aside from those other issues is the fact that these rollers have black debris that sticks to the pasta. We also found small sliver metal bits on our poorly rolled pasta.You cannot wash/submerge these rollers so being able to really get all of that junk out of the rollers prior to use is not possible.Bottom line- DO NOT BUY THESE. They are SO poorly made and it shows. Spend the extra money on proper attachments, I know I will now. Returning these ASAP. Lesson learned.

We loved making pasta with these attachments. Very easy to connect to the Kitchen Aid and super easy to use. Saved a lot of time to make lasagna sheets. Would recommend this to anyone that wishes to make their own pasta.
