Good little tools for beginners to start with. Just be prepared to clean them up first before use.
Pretty nice little items for the price. The one thing that was off putting for me was the grind on the edge. There were sizable burrs on the edges & the grind faces were rough straight from the box. Had to spend about 2 days sharpening & honing to remove the burrs & smooth the edges & faces. After that they cut great.

Woodcarving micro tools
I would purchase these micro tools again. They arrived on time and were sharp. I used them for carving trees and branches and a walking path on a relief carving. They worked out great and are now part of my carving tools.

good tools good price. Mine came with decent edges. They cut through maple with no problems.

pretty good price also
Very sharp and well bade. Used to perform some minor carving and checkering on a set of cherry pistol grips I made. Worked well, pretty good price also. Have not yet used them to restore existing checkering.

I am torn on what rating to give these.
These tools are decent, and the price is okay, I guess. The factory edge is far from exact and needs to be touched up. I do not look forward to dong that to brand new tools. Had I made them, I would be ashamed to sell them in the state they are in, yet if you are capable of using these, you are likely capable of dressing the edge. The quality of the steel and edge retention seem adequate. The profile and curve of the shank are perfect. The cutting edges are sloppy, on all three tools.

Good quality tools for a beginner like me.
Ungodly sharp and comfortable handles. I'm just entering the world of checkering and these should do nicely!

Not very sharp
If you are using them on anything but hardwoods, it may work, had to lap them to get them sharp enough to slightly work.
