This was over all and amazing products.Very easy set up and up keepIt doesn't take up much room.It has great functionality and customizable settings for your personal needs. Amazing growth we had to take our tomatoes out they out grew the machineOur lettuce did amazing we were able to eat alot of it as the plant just keeps replenishing. The build quality, ease of assembly makes it ideal for small classroom and Senior Assisted Living use. After initial setup users can plant the supplied seeds with provided tweezers. This is helpful with those lacking fine motor skills. Very good germination rate. With some seed there were 2 inch sprouts in a week meaning the cover caps used to create a greenhouse effect had to be removed. Some seeds took longer but that’s expected. The lamp hieght is easy to adjust. One should use a gentle touch raising the light by the neck. Very impressed with the overall look and quiet operation. Once the pump was covered with the right amount of water the unit was quiet. Them modes of operation are easy to select: germination, blooming. The time on and rest period are preset.

Living in the deep south has made gardening a whole new experience. Mildew, pest and horrible storms makes it very difficult to grow without pesticides and mildew occurring on leaves. So let's just say I LOVE THIS SYSTEM. So simple and easy to do, I let the 5 and 8 year old set it up and plant. Everything you need in one box, including 12 types of lettuce seed. The pump noise is almost non existent. Now I am saving for AHOPEGARDENs triple decker system. I have to have more!

I approached this as an affordable experiment, and have really enjoyed it. Nearly a month in, I've just ordered a batch of grow sponges for my next crop. The pump is quiet, the system easy to maintain and the timer reliable; the two-year warranty seems generous. Features it lacks include manually setting light duration (you have only two choices) and manually turning off the light without also turning off the pump. (You can turn off the pump independently.) Those features, however, would probably make the unit considerably more expensive than the $60 I paid, which I already consider worthwhile. When I age out of outdoor gardening - likely in the not-distant future -- this will give me my growing fix, and could easily be used in a condo or apartment.My first crop, a month in, left to right: parsley, catnip, lettuce and beets. Given that they're a root vegetable, beets were a dumb choice, but I am learning. Right after this photo was taken, I transplanted the catnip -- grow sponges and all -- to soil in three little pots, which I think my cat will appreciate for her indoor fix. Next seedings: borage and romaine. The experiment continues!

I like that this was simple to set up. Instructions could have been more clear as to lighting during germination, but overall, so far, so good. My plants are starting to grow now! Very low maintenance - water tank is roomier than many others, so need to add water less frequently. Would recommend.

My first hydroponic garden is by a popular brand, that’s smaller and didn’t give me as many features for the value of the product. This unit was easy to set up, extremely quiet- so much so I had to check to see if the pump was actually working or not. The size is great. It has 12 pods and currently I’m using 8 of them. It comes with everything you need for except seeds. After only 3 days the romaine lettuce seeds I purchased separately have germinated. The ease of use and functionality makes me feel like I can grow anything.

Great product. Easy set up. Seeds sprouted in 4 days. It's so fun! I bought another for my adult son for his birthday.

Great product! Excellent for kitchen herbs and other vegetable plants that stay small—or even getting your starts going before transplanting. Highly recommend. Easy setup.
