Book Review: So Easy, So Good
So Easy, So Good is more than just a cookbook, it’s a life manual disguised as delicious, clean recipes. Arash has created something that speaks to the mind, body, and soul with a rare kind of clarity and integrity. I’ve been one of this book’s biggest champions because it truly lives up to its name and offers so much more beneath the surface. At its core, this book reflects Arash’s commitment to the Kaizen way, continuous, incremental self-improvement. That principle isn’t just a passing idea in these pages; it’s the heartbeat of the entire book. With every recipe, every short insight, every nudge toward better habits, Arash reminds us that we don’t have to overhaul our lives overnight. We just have to keep moving forward, one nourishing choice at a time. Each dish is so easy to make, stripping away the intimidation factor often tied to healthy eating. But they’re also so good... good for your body, yes, but also good for your spirit. There’s a deep joy in preparing food from this book, because you can feel the love and intentionality behind it.What I appreciate most is how So Easy, So Good meets you exactly where you are. Arash doesn’t preach perfection; he encourages progress. His grounded, no-BS tone makes you feel like you’ve got a trusted friend in the kitchen, someone who’s been on the journey and genuinely wants you to thrive. This book isn’t about diet culture or temporary change. It’s about building a lifestyle rooted in real food, real self-respect, and sustainable practices. It’s for anyone who wants to feel amazing in their body while living with purpose and presence. If you’re looking for a way to reconnect with your health, fuel your growth, and embrace the Kaizen path, So Easy, So Good is your blueprint. I’m proud to stand behind it and even prouder to live by it.

Shred Happens—and I’m So Glad It Did
Arash Hashemi has written the cookbook of my dreams! I got Shred Happens: So Easy, So Good just recently and have already made several recipes—every one of them delicious, even downright delectable (especially the chicken and salmon dishes). I love that there’s an entire chapter devoted to quick, easy, and flavorful sauces. Most importantly, this book has made me enjoy eating again—which is saying a lot coming from a diabetic food fanatic. I can't wait to get through the whole thing. Thank you, Arash!

Helped us break out of blah weeknight dinners
I've made a few recipes out of this book and so far each were a hit. I love that they use spices I generally have in the house and that I can make the necessary blends. It's easy to get caught up in repetition when you're trying to eat healthy, and these bring a vibrant fresh take to our weekly routine. Highly recommend!

I have been following
I have been following Arash and saving his videos on Instagram for about a year now and I have lost 30lbs and have been maintaining the weight thanks to his recipes. So when he introduced his book such glee, this book is wonderful, he gives you meals for a full restaurant experience and I love making my own blends, he has a section for season blends. Great introduction, great recipes overall good book!

Good recipes, but no calories, macros or portion sizes listed. But I LOVE that there is no pork!
I love the recipes, but there are no calories listed per serving or macros such as protein, sugar in g, etc. There are no recommended portion or serving sizes listed either. I really need that to manage my weight and health. The author says that the book is High Protein, Low Carb, but we have no idea how much protein there is per meal or how many carbs. While I am excited to try the delicious recipes, I am disappointed that I cannot track anything from the recipes or learn to control my portion sizes per recipe. This is very important to me. I hope Arash adds these in an updated version. One thing I must add that I LOVE is that there is no pork! As a Muslim, we are forbidden from eating pork, and I am turned off by otherwise good cookbooks that have recipes including pork. I appreciate that Arash has no pork dishes included. I am not sure if it was intentional, as he is Persian and comes from a Muslim country, but it's definitely appreciated and important to me when buying cookbooks.

This book is a must have!
This cookbook is a must have for anyone who is considering exploring a Mediterranean lifestyle. The book is appropriately titled. All of the recipes that I have tried so far have been so easy and so good!I have been following Arash Hashemi for a little over a year on Instagram and look forward to his daily updates on the dishes he is preparing. I have been making some of the recipes off the instagram posts and have enjoyed all of them. They are easy to prepare, so I was excited to get the cookbook.Arash has a very charismatic style and a very inspirational story around his love of good food and his desire to achieve a healthy weight and lifestyle. I can totally relate to that mindset. I really love the "autobiography" that he included in the cookbook and will definitely continue to follow him as I work my way through the cookbook and continue on my healthy lifestyle journey. One thing that he does which is unique and he included in the cookbook, is all of the marinades and the sauces that he uses in meal preparation, they look and taste fantastic. Honestly, I truly love using the sauces with the dishes that I am preparing because they are easy to make and so delicious.
