Pretty decent value for the money
Ordered one of these recently after trying to find an inexpensive, non-wood/non-fabric footboard setup to discourage our weiner dogs from jumping off the end of the bed.Assembly was mostly straight forward. Parts were clearly labeled, the package of screws was as well and included a few extras of common bolts and washers, etc.A tip for others: the F & E rails that go together use a bolt that at a glance bottoms out too early and doesn't look like it's the right one. It actually is, but you do have to really tighten it down a bit; the one rail fits inside the other with an elongated C piece, and the bolt actually goes all the way to the other side, and then tightening it down presses the back side of that C piece firmly against the inside of the other section. It took me a few minutes to figure it out, but the bolt they identify in the instructions is correct. The manual is a little excessive in that it repeats a few pages just to show how to install it in the lower position versus the upper, when all it needs to say is "for the higher position, use the top two holes. For the lower position, use the bottom two". The other thing I noticed is that in the end of it, there's a diagram that shows what appear to be foot covers of some sort. But there's zero mention of them, the steps, or anything other than just a list of part numbers for each color. I don't know if that's just so we can order them ourselves? or if they were supposed to be included but were missing from mine? or what the deal is with that.Overall though, it went together rather easily. I'll add a small felt strip down the center under the supporting bars just to avoid any rattles down the road - the mattress pins them down against the metal but I'd rather be safe.My queen mattress does have a couple inches to spare lengthwise, likely to allow for bedding or variances from MFRs, but it seems sturdy and for the price, hard to beat for a headboard+footboard frame.

Wow
I SERIOUSLY DON'T recommend putting this together ALONE. I'm 75 and in a wheelchair. I put it together ALONE. Took a full day, and WOW, I wouldn't do it again. BUT, the bed is wonderful, beautiful, sturdy, and came with extra screws and washers. Very thoughtful of the company. No noise rolling over. If you can follow instructions,,you can put this together. It's very nice. I'm glad I got this. UPDATE.... THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL BED, ....BUT, I am giving it away because I cannot put the fitted sheets on it. I mentioned already I am an older person, with serious arthritis. There isn't enough room between the end of the mattress and the footboard to fit my hand between it. I cannot lift the mattress because of the weight. And the comforter won't fit either because it's so snug a fit . I've ordered a platform and a headboard only. The bed is beautiful, but I can't make it work for me. Just something to consider.

sturdy, doesn't squeak and looks great.
It's easy to put together too and pretty much dummy proof. The directions are straightforward and understandable. Even the pictures included with the written directions are understandable. The nuts and bolts are all labeled on the directions and the package they come in so there's no guessing which bolt is which. There's even a part of the package that's labeled 'extra's' and contains numbered and labeled extra nuts and bolts just in case. The bed itself is very strong. I went crazy looking for a bed frame that didn't need a box spring but didn't want a wood slatted one or a cheapie metal one that bends in time like my old one. I also needed a frame that was low to the ground as my old one had a 14inch clearance under the bed, and I had trouble getting it it. This bed frame gives you a choice on whether or not to use the 6 inch legs or the 11 inch legs, so I used the 6inch legs for this bed; The 6 inch worked out well because my mattress is so thick. My feet actually hit the floor when I get out of bed now. This bed frame has metal slats placed pretty close together. What I think is great about it too is that the outer center legs are placed I'm guessing at least 3 or 4 inches in from the underside of the bed, so I will never stub my toe on the legs again like my old metal frame. I bought the white one. It looks just like the picture. All parts were included including the wrench and allen key to put it together and the metal for all parts of the frame were undamaged so i"m thrilled with my purchase. Delivery was fast too.

Slats are ify
Slats are hard to keep in place. There is space between the headboard and mattress, as well as footboard. The money is well spent for a king bed frame. Keep in mind, the slats move.

Very good bed.
I have this bed in my tiny little apartment room, so maneuverability might be different for me. I do have kinda only one spot I can put this thing cause of how small my room is, however if you have a NORMAL sized to LARGE sized room this would be fine and I’m sure that department would cause no issues. It doesn’t squeak despite me reading a few things saying it does, I’ve had it for a couple months now I believe and it’s awesome. The only real Problem I had was with getting it up my stairs, I’m about 5’5 and weigh 110 pounds, this thing weighed more than me so needles to say getting this shit up a flight of stairs was near impossible, but i did it. Also when putting it together, please pay attention to which way holes are facing on the paper and in life because it just might take you an hour longer to swap shot around because you weren’t paying attention. Although I had some trouble putting it together, I’ll admit I didn’t have ANY help so that is probably a big factor, but I put it together by myself in probably 5 hours with one of those hours being me taking things apart and putting it back again.EDIT: It’s been like a year and the bed is still holding strong, there IS a squeak when you put it under a lot of movement but it isn’t a problem for me.
