After 6 months of use the coil split open on side, became warped, and finally died. Many G coil hotplates announce they have Hotmak ISI marked coil but you can see the status of the coil in the pictures. This particular model uses a nonstandard type G coil (if you see G coils come with a ring and not a screw that goes through) which is 1. Not easily available 2. Hard to replace with other G coils matching dimensions. The bottom cover plate is held by the screw from the coil itself. Not sure if this manufacturer welded it to the coil or there is some model of coil like this. Very disappointed with the purchase. The heating level selector is also bad, it wasn't making contact correctly few times.
