I needed this so bad. I got a new job that was remote for a while and my office chair is on carpet. I was catching it. Trying to slide back and forth trying to get up up out the chair so I needed this bad. Once I got it it's still not 100% like if it was on linoleum or concrete but it's better than it was. The only thing I didn't like was it came rolled up so my husband and I cuz it takes two people because the plastic is really hard. You have to roll it out and I actually had to put weights on the corner for it to stay down until it relaxed. It took about a week, maybe 2 before it just laid flat on the carpet. But like I said, it's still not going to be 100% useful if you're putting it on carpet my home office the floor is carpet. My husband's office is not. When we bought the house it was an artist studio. It's not really big enough for a bedroom anyway, but anywho, it works good if you're not on carpet

The fact that I work from home means that I spend many hours sitting at my desk, and I recently became aware that the low-pile carpet in my office area was beginning to show signs of wear and tear from my chair. I wanted to preserve my flooring while also making it easier for me to walk about throughout the day, so I utilized this product to accomplish both of those benefits. Upon receiving the mat, I was instantly amazed by its thickness as well as its resistance to wear and tear. My opinion is that the quality is there from the moment you open the package. The process of unrolling it was simple, and it was able to settle down on the carpet in a short amount of time without causing any bothersome curling at the edges. In my opinion, the translucent design is a good touch since it does not interfere with the beauty of my space. The pattern of the carpet is still apparent, which is something that I love. The process of rolling my chair over the mat is painless and uncomplicated. Previously, the wheels of my chair would often get entangled in the carpet threads, which made it quite difficult for me to modify my posture. Currently, I have the impression that I am able to move fluidly from one section of my desk to another. My productivity has unquestionably increased as a result of this since I am no longer continuously sidetracked by minor annoyances. To me, one of the most advantageous aspects of the mat is the ease with which it can be moved.

It feels well made for what it is. It was easy to get out of the box and came with care instructions. Arrived a day earlier than expected so that is always nice. All in all great purchase. True to size. Came with the small pegs on the back to keep it in place on the carpet. Does not even have that new plastic smell (if it does it is faint). It is textured so it should be slip resistance. Over all functionality it as described.

We purchased these for my and my husband’s work spaces. The mats unrolled easily and the little nubs on the backside cut our hands to shreds as we attempted to wrangle it into place. The big problem came when we went to use it. As soon as I sat on it, my chair wheels sank in and created divots that were annoyingly hard to roll out of. He weighs about 250 and I weigh 140. We thought we’d give it a try anyway. It didn’t bother him as much because he sits stationary in front of a computer, but I move around A LOT in my craft room. Even though their description says the mat is heavy duty and won’t create divots - they lied! Buyer beware. At least I was able to return them within the return window!

Exactly as advertised. Perfect fit and no surprises. Great value for the money.

This is so frustrating. These mats are the right size all right, if I ever get them flattened out! I can't unroll them! They are too stiff to flatten. Another problem is the backing side has very sharp prongs. OK, they won't slip on the low-nap carpet, but they will certainly dig holes in it by the dozens! I need heavy gloves to get a grip, and I'm not a wimp. I just don't think bleeding all over the carpet is a good idea! Now these 3 mats were delivered to the apartment I am renting. I am 76 years old, and can no longer drive, so returning them is going to be a big problem that I don't need. I just need usable mats. ggrrrr!

Came rolled up and after about 2 days with weighted objects on it, it did flatten out and is being used by my son. Seems thicker than the last one we had so hopefully, it will last longer.

It was very, very hard to unroll.I ended up weighting it down with 30lbs weights to get it to unroll & to hold it down, if I didn't have the weights, I'm not sure what I'd have done...I let it acclimate for a couple weeks once rolled out before putting in place in office area.Mine measured closer to 47 1/4" x 59" but that was no big deal it wasn't going to be an exact fit anyways. It's a good size for me as its only purpose is to protect the carpet from accidental spills (easy cleanup).I have it under furniture on two sides & point of entry side is a little cupped down towards carpet so that's not really an issue & I'm thinking over time that may go away.Now if it can just make it 3-5 years+ before the chair wheels wear a hole through it that would be great!
