Sure-Grip QUBE 8-Ball Bearings

Great low cost option, Not quit the Fafnirs or the 80's but a well made bearing using 8 x 0.125.0 or 1/8 balls instead of 7x 0.1563 or 5/32.The groves in the races are deep and polished nicely.Careful removing the dust shields as they are soft steel and can be bent easily when cleaning and re lubing.I like that they use a lite grease as opposed to oil , it makes more sense.I hate videos that compare bearings with little lube being free spun with no load on them, a greased bearing can actually roll faster under load.Put 2 180 pound humans on 2 skate boards with the same wheels down a 7% grade and then see who rolls the furthest.The light oil can be displaced or fried into smoke causing friction and gulling slowing the roll way down while grease gets thinner and slicker!Great bearing, great concept and great execution.

Bought these for a second pair of indoor skates I just assemble, roll smooth with no resistance and priced right would buy again.

Qube 8-ball bearings are absolutely wonderful. For anyone who has not used them before, it takes a little more energy to make them go; especially during their short break-in period. But they are considerably smoother under your weight, and not much maintenance, since the bearing ball race has a rubber shield on both sides. In my opinion as a jam skater for 30 years, Qube 8-balls are worth every dollar.

I originally bought these for myself but my son tried them and liked them so I have ordered a second set for me. The roll smooth and handle the corners very well.

I received my order of Qube 8-Ball bearings in the factory sealed box. I was surprised to find fifteen 7mm bearings and one 8mm bearing in the box. I contacted the seller and he sent a replacement next day. The error is clearly on Sure-Grip but Happy Skate took action immediately to make it right. I'll happily order from them again (in fact I did just order another set of bearings today). I skated the 8-Balls last night and they work great.

I have been roller skating for over 20 years and I still use these bearings in my skates. I just order a custom Riedell skate and I wanted a new pair of bearings. Love them and they are affordable.

Worth every penny!I had some old skates with 7mm axles, and it was difficult to find good bearings at a decent price, but here they are, and they work great! smooth and quiet!
