Great value ink kit that gives great results
These inks are great value and so easy to use and I got them for my HP 6520 photosmart printer and I refilled some compatible cartridges I got from Lidl and the results are really impressive so I’m very pleased with my purchase . The black ink is strong and the colour inks are vibrant and printing photos have very good colour saturation. I found that rather than having to faff about with drilling a hole or finding an entry point to fill I found that you can fill the cartridge through the ink pad, just fill the syringe and let it drip gently on to the print pad until the cartridge is full (you will know when it’s full as the ink will come out the other end so use some kitchen towel if you overfill it) This kit is a no brainer, cheap, easy and impressive results, stop wasting money on branded ink this is a cost effective way of printing and inks will last a very long time if you are a home user like me.

Adequate for home school.
The inks and included equipment are good quality and leak proof. Have only refilled cartridges twice but process is straightforward for a first timer.Printing black text and colour pictures on standard A4 paper is good enough for home schooling work and pictures for children to cut up.Photos printed appear washed out and colour balance not great. Tried this using glossy and matte photo paper but colours appear the same as on plain paper..I would not recommend for quality pictures to stick on the wall but for general printing these inks are excellent and SO much cheaper than buying replacement cartridges.

Not paying for genuine cartridges again
It's important to mention that this depends on your printer, whether or not the printer can be fooled. I've used this on two canon pixma printers. These printers don't disable the ink cartridges - they don't write back to the chip in the cartridge, so you can continue to refill them as much as you like. The refilling process is much easier than I thought, just remember to wear rubber gloves. I also had a pack of wipes to clean up any spills. After a few cleans, the page is printing as expected and the colours are nice and vibrant. Brilliant value for money as the genuine cartridges are over £45. I estimate that I can refill these 6 or 7 times for £16.

Very inexpensive alternative to generic and own brand cartridges
Really easy to refill HP302XL cartridges. Not yet printed photos where there may be a quality difference to own brand cartridges but for every day printing this ink is fine and reinking a set of black and colour HP302XL cartridges works out at leas than £1. For that outlay and a little effort, what's not to like?

Cheap but poor quality
I would say that the idea of filling your own ink cartridges is appealing, due to the money saved. That is a good point about this. The downsides is that the ink is poor quality. I no longer have yellow, or at least I am running out of yellow very easily. The second downside, is that you can make a big mess. Personally I found it easier to lift the tops of the cartridges of, and inject into the sponges directly. Drilling holes in the top, and injecting until it bubbles out is overfilling, and you don't want to overfill as ink will leak everywhere. As an aside, I had to 'reset' my printer when the printer thought ink had run out- video online that tell you how to do that. Ok for bulk low-quality printing, but not good for high quality printing.

Does not work
It did not work with my printer Canon MP495. Despite multiple attempts. I could not get the printer to print at all. This is going to bin.
