Excellent product! Good quality and perfect colour match!

I bought a set of these to fit to a brand new MacBook Air, as I was worried about it picking up scratches or glossiness from my wrist.The packaging is very simple, which is good. It does require you to visit a website to read instructions on how to fit them.The instructions are simple, but the product design doesn’t really lend itself to simple installation. There is a single tab on each of the two pieces, which you use to peel off the backing. The protectors themselves are a kind of metallised vinyl, which is actually quite thick so it retains its flatness whilst held in your hand.The install basically just tells you to align them and stick them down. There’s no assistance provided for this, it’s literally a case of hoping that you’ll get it dead on when you offer it up to the laptop. The adhesive is fairly strong so it wants to stick as soon as contact is made.I did the left hand one easily enough, but the right hand one was harder to fit because my wrist cast a shadow over the corner of the laptop, making it very difficult to accurately position the protector.The protectors don’t leave room for error in terms of fitment, which is great for full coverage, but could easily mean you end up with it catching your finger on the edge.Even with perfect fitment the left hand side is shy of the trackpad by about 0.5mm, whereas the right hand side is dead flush. This was remarked by another reviewer and I can confirm it is the case. Not good if you have an OCD!Colour wise (Midnight) I’d say it’s probably a 95% match. At certain angles it is essentially invisible, but at others you can see the light doesn’t reflect off of it in quite the same way as the naked laptop. I’m happy to say though that you’d only really notice if you were looking for it.Hopefully the manufacturer will consider providing some application assistance, e.g. tape to hold it in an exact place while you peel off the backing, rather than just having to do it by sight alone.Also worth noting that unlike in some cases where you get more than one in the packet, you only get one of each side so any mistakes (e.g. bending or creasing the protector) are fatal.
