This attachment should have been included with the trimmer kit. It provides more options for how long orshort you want to trim your beard. The trimmer has adjustments built into the blade, so you have to trimcarefully at first. Once you find your "spot" the comb stays in place trim after trim. You will need to remove it to clean the trimmer.

This fits the 5544 model but doesn’t perform well as a beard trimmer. Even at the smallest setting, it fails to trim my beard effectively. The original plastic trimmer was too flimsy and broke within two weeks. While this replacement feels more durable, it behaves more like a hair trimmer. There's no way to achieve a 3 mm cut with this—at the lowest setting, the gap between the blades and the trimmer is likely over 10 mm.
