Peace of mind is really the best way to describe Serenity. From the moment you look at the cover it provides a sense of calm with its color and symbolism with the Koi fish. The poems inside are divided into three sections each providing a unique emotional response through its arrangements and chosen language. Serenity is perfect for taking a few moments to yourself and really feeling stillness in a world that's nonstop. Thank you F.S. Yousaf for sharing your work

This one, like the first, blew me away with its emotionally sharp simplicity. Most of these poems fall between five and fifteen lines, and yet I saw often saw myself, and the journey's of my life in those few words. The struggle between courage and fear, between serenity and settling.

Yousaf helps me say things I find difficulty saying myself; whether it be love, faith, longing for connection. He says so much, sometimes somehow with very little. I find pieces of me in pieces of this collection. I have a hard time expressing love, expressing my relationship with manhood. Yousaf doesn't do it masterfully, but he does it humanely, which is kind of what I've been looking for. I'll keep returning to these pieces at times when I remember I don't got it all figured out yet.

I loved this! Each poem and placement was so intentional and I appreciated how the poems progressed in the story that was being told! Anyone who loves poetry will love this collection, it's authentic and open and so beautiful. Not to mention that the cover is absolutely stunning!!
