No more uconnect problems!!!
Usually I don’t bother with reviews but this is 100x better than the stock jeep uconnect. Better sound quality and can use phone gps over Bluetooth. Backup camera is a hair hazy but I might just need to clean the camera lens. Installed on jeep renegade trailhawk. 2018. Yes this unit does have climate controls, heated seats and heated steering wheel controls. I was a little bit worried about that. This is day 1 but so far 10/10. Especially since the stock unit bubbles and that’s a common problem. Also this is like $300 cheaper than the stock unit. Jeep does stand for just empty every pocket lol. There is a how to video on a review here that is also 10/10. Makes the wiring a lot less complicated.

Great Unit
The main reason I purchased a stereo head was to utilize car play. This stereo head automatically connects to my phone and opens up car play immediately when i start the car which is really handy. There is a video on youtube about this specific xtron unit teaching you how to install it, and it is easy to do. I wired the sim card tray theought the steering wheel hole and mounted it next to the stereo incase i wanted to add a sim card in the future. My vehicle does not originally have navigation so this may be useful down the road but not necessary since i mainly just use apple car play and the radio.

Like the radio but not compatible with Sirius radio unless thru your phone.

Worth every penny.
Yep graded my partner’s 2017 renegade with beats audio with the teeny screen. This not only looks so much better, the equalizer and sound options have made the sound systemIn the car sound so great. We bought the better model for what it’s worth, this is worth the money.

Great and easy product
Great product one thing that really gets me is that the time is always wrong it’s either ahead or behind I fix it and fix it and still it will be wrong. After a couple of days it goes of time so I just deal with it. Other than that 5 stars all the way

You can do this yourself in 1-2 hours. No help is needed.

Short lived screen life.
Has absolutely no instructions on how to install, had to watch a YouTube video and even then not all of the speakers worked. Now the Android Auto connects, but the screen will not come up. Contacted their customer care line and they said i must have done something to damage it and that they never have problems like that. Too late to return so guess im stuck with the bill.

Like it but.....
Like the features of the head unit, but one is proving tricky. I'm wanting to add a data sim to it. The IMEI of the unit is not compatible with any providers that I have checked when it claims compatibility with 99% of carriers on the XTRONS site. I don't want to use the car link function. 5 stars if this was not an issue.
