Shorefields, Small Compact, Meadow Hay, Bagged, 10kg

I ordered a small bale, on arrival I opened the bag to find the hay to not be of the quality I had expected. It was older hay and dusty.I messaged the seller to get an immediate response! I sent a picture of the hay, with no quibble I had a new, fresh, larger bale delivered the following day!!I can not recommend this seller enough, fast, friendly communication and the hay quality is fantastic…. Perfect for my daughters spoilt Guinea pigs lol!I will certainly order again, I am confident the small dry bale had perhaps slipped through the net from last years cut or something.**** stars from me, thank you Shorefields.

Amazing value and super compressed, making it super difficult to pull hay off. Will have to invest in a very large box to open it up into to make it easier to grab hay in chunks rather than a couple of strands but apart from that I'm very impressed.

Bought this an it does have a smell to it but my guinea pigs and rabbits absolutely love it! Its packed tightly so should last a little while. Will defo be buying this again and again!

Very tightly compacted so is going to last a really long time which is great. Guinea pigs like it. It’s really hard to get out package as so tightly compressed. Not that I’m complaining! Will be buying again as get a lot for money.

I ordered this hay for my Guinea's and rabbit's, I have bought the full bales off this company before and its top quality!! So I decided to try the compressed bale to save space! What a mistake!! The picture on the left is the compressed bale the one on the right is the full bale.It's brown musty and smells awful.Not happy considering how much it cost.

Not the meadow hay I was expecting for guinea pig food. Stupidly tightly packed so it's virtually impossible to get out of the bag. Seems to be more like bedding straw than food hay. Also more dusty than other dust extracted hays I've bought previously. Will not buy again.

- I bought this as I couldn’t really afford to be paying for the more bougie subscription of haybox and wanted to see if it was more value for money if I bought this product.- found a few chunky sticks at the bottom of the bag- difficult to remove from the packaging, I found turning it opening it upside down and ripping it from the sides has the more softer texture so easier to remove.- isn’t really fresh in my opinion, but my guinea pigs seem to like it. Time will tell if I decide to continue with the subscription- smells pleasant, nothing bad!
