My daughter loves to embroider her clothes, upcycle and thrift for sustainability, and she loved this book of ideas.

Very very good book for beginners. I had not done any needlework since 1980. Before that I used to embroider on my painter’s pants and dungarees. This is my current piece I am working on.

I very much enjoyed this book, but I was blown away by how many wonderful ideas are shared! I definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves to cross stitch but has been wanting to try something new or is just feeling stuck for their next project!

Thanks to my kindle points this book cost me $3 instead of $18. I am great ful for that. This is a beginners book and consists mostly of hoop projects that are very simple. Were I new to embroidery this would be a good book.The few pages on perspective was useful.

Ms. Ray makes you want to get out your threads and start stitching right away with her enthusiasm for her subject. Her instructions are simple and clear enough, even for a beginner. Her projects are varied enough to provide a little something for most everyone. It's definitely a good addition to most crafters libraries. Recommended.
