Wow
Although this gem arrived and has been sitting on the counter for a week, I see my daughter reaching for the stainless steel pot and basket steamer to make sweet potatoes for my 6-month old granddaughter last night. I encouraged her to try the new baby food steamer and exhausted she said, I don’t have time to learn a new appliance. I reached for the sweet potato and said I’ll wash, peel and cut you just figure out the sterilization feature and if it’s easy then we will use it if not I will take over from here and make dinner for the baby. In the time it took me to wash and peel the potato, she had the sterilization going with 10 minutes on the timer. She went to pump breast milk (her work never ends) and when she got back it was time to put the cut sweet potatoes in the machine. OMG how easy this gem is to use. I went back to my chores and 30 mins later, when I returned, the baby was finished eating and she was already processing apple sauce in prep for breakfast. She thanked me and smiled this sigh of relief, no more basket steaming on the stove, no more food processor step, no more waiting for the pan to cool and washing a sink full of dishes for 1 sweet potato. I think her life just got a little bit easier and that’s what grandmas (Mimi) are for. No wonder baby food steamer/maker is rated 5 stars! The only one I could find with 5 stars. I was apprehensive on buying this one, it was a little more expensive and had a smaller capacity than others and I know my daughter intends to meal prep ahead of time. But this little machine cleans and sterilizes itself, steams and purées all in the same container and the result is flawless. She can clean and cut everything then in painless batches prepare my granddaughter’s meals. What I wouldn’t have given for this 27 years ago when my daughter was trying her first sweet potatoes! Bravo to this machine, worth every penny!

Efficient and useful!
I love that this baby food makers is a steamer and blender in one. Bc of allergens, i like that my baby has his own food maker separate from my bigger blender and food processor. Overall i just feel that it’s more sanitary. The steaming process is much easier than trying to time stovetop steaming. The self cleaning feature is great and for the blender I like that i have the option to either manual blender or auto blend depending on the puree texture I’m wanting to achieve. I was hesitant on getting “another appliance” but the Evla is very compact & pleasing to the eye, it doesn’t give bulky or overbearing at all. The blending isn’t the quietest thing but it’s not horribly loud and it’s efficient bc blended to a perfect texture within a minute. I hope it lasts us a long time! So far I Would highly recommend !!!

Awesome, I love it! 🌟
This machine is cute, compact, and POWERFUL! 🌟-First, I’ll start with why I started searching for a Baby Food Maker.PBS.org has an article posted on Feb 4, 2021, “A congressional investigation has found levels of arsenic, lead and other toxic metals that can harm brain development in many popular baby foods, including organic brands.”So, apparently there’s acceptable levels of arsenic, Mercury, and other dangerous things and they’re greatly exceeding those levels. Some test the ingredients but don’t test the final product. Originally I was just gonna feed my kids out of pre-made jars just like I was raised but not a chance in hell now. (Please conduct your own research and come to your own conclusions, this is just where I stand.)-Now to the product!I picked this one because it’s the highest rated Baby Food Maker I could find. The reviews were promising, and everyone seemed satisfied. It was easy to set up, I gave it a rinse and set it to sanitize itself. Nice and efficient~I jumped straight into making my first experimental batch, a quarter of a white sweet potato and a third of a large carrot. Cleaned, cubed, and tossed in the steamer basket. Both the sanitizing and steaming are really quiet for the first minute, and once it gets going it’s still not very loud. Quiet and efficient. Then I dumped the steamed cubes in the base with the blender, locked it all back into place, hit the auto blend button (screen)- and nearly jumped out of my skin! This thing packs a PUNCH!! It roared to life and beat the cubes into a smooth as hell purée! Surprisingly loud but not too much.It was actually an accident to buy a white sweet potato, they’re dryer and more grainy, so I expected to need to add water, but the leftover steaming water was the perfect amount. It was surprisingly tasty! But my kiddo isn’t even born yet so, I’m just in prep and practice mode~ To make sure I’m not wasting god I made it tastier just for me! Added butter, a spoon (or two) of sugar, and a generous sprinkle of cinnamon. After a pulse or two it was like a perfect little pie filing, delicious! I ate half hot, half cold, it stayed a perfect pure and not grainy even after cooling!-In conclusion!I highly recommend this product for its ease of use, easy to clean, quality construction, and excellent results!I’ll be happy to come back and update my review to include how it works after a lot more use~ Right now, 10 out of 10 🌟
