Pens came in a handy small box with a number of colours. When using for the first time, I recommend shaking the pen thoroughly then pressing the nib in (with some kitchen roll) for about 20-30 seconds, recapping and shaking again, then press in till the nib fills with pigment. After that, when painting and wanting to refill the nib, gently press down on a hard surface until a smidge more comes out and you’re away again. Really good coverage, and good size for control for contouring. Dries quickly when used outside on a metal house sign that needed a complete repaint (flowers, leaves and berries). Can blend colours quite easily in situ when adding colours on top of each other (I used a finger but a small sponge is probably cleaner!). Great product and well worth the money.

Once you get the hang of it these pens are great. You need to shake them first and then try to blot on some tissue paper by pressing the nib lots of times until the paint starts to run down. Easy to use but you will need some white spirit to clean your hands or anything you’ve touched as these are oil based. These are great for touching up or redecorating garden ornaments that have weathered and discoloured. Also good for painting pebbles etc and leaving outdoor without any paint coming off. This pack has a good basic colour selection of paints which are vibrant shades. Would highly recommend and definitely buy again if I ran out of them.

Paint quality is good - very opaque with strong pigments. Caps are nice and secure suggesting these won't dry out in a hurry. The tips are bullet shaped firm felt but not that fine - with a new pen and very light pressure you can just about get a 1mm line but because you need to push hard on the tip to get the paint to flow, after a couple of uses there's very slight spreading of the tip. They do their job well enough if you don't require fine lines.

Great for all kinds of surfaces, the pens last a really long time if you dont use them regularly. I've had them for a few months now and I've used them on rocks, wood, sketch paper and a sketch book cover. The only one they didn't really work on was the sketch book cover, but that was more my technique than the pens as the paint did stick to the material and seems pretty decent 👍

Using these to paint-draw-filling designs furniture/objects & more colours. OK I should & have used sml thin brushes for very fine details...but these are excellent. As with other "enamel paints" put lids on not using. Remember NOT water based so don't leave kids with them!!! So happy more options art use metals & easier use.Thank you!
