We went to order a replacement one at hardware store and wanted to charge us an astronomical price after it was so hard to find so we ordered from Amazon and boom it works perfectly!

Great charger, at first I had my doubts about it but I just decided to try it. I had lost my original charger for my drill and needed one and at the store it was like if I was buying almost a new set of drill, so I went with this offer and I'm really happy I did go for it. Anyway, it's a great product and charges super fast.

It won’t charge my old bl1830 oem makita battery, it keeps giving battery fault lights after a few second I plugged the battery into the charger, so I bought another oem makita bl1840b battery kit with charger, the funny thing is the oem makita charger would charge my old bl1830 battery and this aftermarket charger would also charge my new bl1840b battery but not the bl1830.I will still file a return due to their false claim and some review says it might catch on fire while charging. I’d recommend paying a little more for the makita oem charger instead.
