This is the actual husk, not the finer powder you find in capsules etc. This is what you need! I put two teaspoons in a smoothy every day and my gut issues are gone! Pooping like a legend and saving a fortune in loo paper. One wipe Willy they call me! If you know, you know ;)

Great product working well.

The taste and consistency is not great. I find it best to mix with a small amount of water and drink it quickly (in 3 or 4 gulps) before it thickens up too much, whilst trying to ignore the taste and feeling of it in your mouth. I immediately follow up with a big glass of squash or water to wash it down and take the taste away. I also try and drink 2 litres of water/squash each day. It’s not vile but certainly not very nice. I take 2 scoops/20 ml morning and night but that may be reduced slightly over time because it’s working well for me. Anyone who has tried Fybogel before will be familiar with the consistency. This has no added flavouring and is much cheaper and just as effective, if not more. I struggled before and have never been very regular. For the first week if taking this I was a bit disappointed because nothing really happened. I would say stick at it because now I’m very regular and feel much better for it and the taste of it is nothing compared to the benefit if you struggle with regularity. Does make you a bit windy though :)

Only used this for 2 days and can honestly say it works. The texture is strange to say the least but I don’t struggle with this, others may. This is definitely part of my morning routine now and i will be ordering more once I have finished this pack.

I did my research before buying this particular husk product and I’m happy with the quality and the price.I’m adding a tablespoon to my muesli and wait a bit for it to expand before I consume. Or simply add a sprinkle over salads.I like the packaging as well , very compact and when I buy bigger pack I put it in a glass jar to keep the moisture away.

If like me you suffer from IBS, you MUST give this product a go! I’ve suffered from IBS-M for the past 20 years and tried everything to try and cure my symptoms; most days, I would be stuck in the bathroom for 2-3 hours minimum - now, I’m in there for no more than 10 minutes!Psyllium husk works by bulking together and streamlining stools so that they pass easily and cleanly. My bottom now requires minimal wiping (no, seriously - most days I’m wiping away nothing!) and smells are much less hostile.This product does have a slightly funny taste. It’s a very neutral, almost “cardboardy” taste, so whilst not disgusting or unpleasant, it is just a bit bland. I mix mine with either orange juice or squash and then drink it using a straw. The product absorbs water extremely quickly, so you’ll need to drink it quickly otherwise it will gel up. I often follow with a glass of plain water to help the product work.I cannot recommend this product enough - BUY IT, BUY IT, BUY IT! For the money, psyllium husk is a no brainer which I’d recommend for everyone!
