Dexter Axle 023-027-00 Electric Brake Assembly

I was pleasantly pleased that these p/n 023-027-00 Right Hand and 023-026-00 Left Hand 2-1/4 x 10" brakes fit my 1987 Avion 34V as it came equipped with (3) 3500# axles and 2-1/4 by 10" diameter brakes. They have a 2-7/8" by 2-7/8" square pattern bolt spacing with 7/16-20 studs and a 3" diameter hole through the center for the spindle.

Same part that needed to be replaced on my trailer. Works as designed

The electric brake assembly was a good fit and works well!

Noticed that wires are pulled very tight through backing plates and are really close to being broken when they are manufactured. Hoping this doesn't prese nt a problem later down the road. Use one trip so far and they worked great after initial adjustment.

The parts arrived a week ahead of the estimated date. The product was a perfect fit and works great. I did both sides of the trailer.

Only 1 of 4 mounting bolts had been pressed into the mounting plate. I was able to remove 3 from the old brake assembly and hammered them into place with a steel punch. I completed the install in spite of the missing bolts. Left side was fine.

Fit perfectly… only thing is I would recommend the manufacturer label part as “driver side” or “passenger side” rather than Left side or Right Side. Other than that, it’s works and fits great.
