I was impressed by the packaging and happy to leave out on my bathroom shelves, and the bamboo 'body' of the cotton bud is really sturdy (much more so than the plastic alternative I am used to), after the first use I am a convert and will never buy from anywhere else! I have been making steps to live a greener lifestyle and often find that I have to compromise a little on the quality/ practicality of an item ever so slightly, which is a sacrifice I thought I was willing to make... but these bamboo cotton buds have shown me that I do not, and great sustainable alternatives that are better than the plastic I am used to, do exist!

I like the concept and long ago stopped buying plastic cotton buds. I’d rather use nothing than use plastic. I am disappointed however with DreamEco bamboo cotton buds for the following reason. The wands, although sturdy, can be quite sharp and do not have enough cotton wrapped around to make an easy job of cleaning. I would be very careful using them on a baby or someone other than yourself, especially if you’re used to using normal cotton buds. Maybe I just got a bad pack.

These are a better alternative to plastic as they are biodegradable but I have a couple of the stems snap whilst using them in my ears, so just be careful as they are not as strong as plastic but it was fine.

Glad it's possible to get cotton buds without the plastic. Just as good, no issues, and no plastic waste. Just need to get them in stores so don't need to order individually.

In an effort to use less plastic, I ordered these over our usual brand. I know the most eco thing would be not to use cotton buds at all but I have tried reusable alternatives but they just don’t have the same effect as they aren’t absorbent. I use them for make up and for getting water out of my ears after a bath and these are just as good as the leading brand in my opinion.

They are great. I was scared that might be weak and bending but not at all. They are strong and good for the environment
