Typhoo Tea 80ct Tea Bags
I see that several of the Typhoo reviews describe this black tea as "strong" or "bold." That is not the case to my taste.Typhoo is a nice black tea of moderate strength that stands up to a long brewing time without becoming bitter or tannic (my litmus test for all black tea as I prefer strong tea) and holds up well to a splash of milk. If you have tried any Taylor's of Yorkshire teas or Thompson's Family teas (a nice Irish blended breakfast tea), then you will have an approximation of the flavor profile of Typhoo: moderate strength, never bitter, nicely rounded flavor...in short, a nice cup of tea. And the price is right.Typhoo should please even the most persnickety tea lover.UPDATE (02/08/2023)After several months of drinking Typhoo, it has become...hands down...my very favorite black tea and is now the only brand in my cupboard. As I indicated earlier, I prefer a strong brew. Typhoo stands up to a long brew time (6-10 minutes) and produces a tannic-free, rich flavor. For those who prefer a more typical brew time (2-4 minutes), Typhoo produces a delicious, bright cup of tea.In its price range, Typhoo is certainly a top-tier black tea to my taste.

Taste great
Tried getting into tea because my office is a guest room in basement which is cold and never been a huge coffee drinker. Found this is the most purchased tea in UK (believe the internet so can't validate), and they drink a lot of tea so they should know what taste good. Anyway, tastes good I like how the packs come foil wrapped so you know each sleeve of about 15-20 (not counting) are fresh. These are little circle pods and do not have a string attached like typical American teabags, but who cares.

TyPhoo Tea ! Blimey ive drunk more than 42,500 cups of tea, well I never.
I have been drinking Typhoo since 1956 when I was a little nipper, with forays into other brands by Mum and Dad, but as a family we always went back to TyPhoo. Living in America though we got used to good old Lipton tea, 'cause the British brands just were not readily available. Being able to enjoy TyPhoo again, reminds me that the British brands are generally more robust and fuller flavoured. I find Typhoo more preferable than Twinings for strength and consisitency of flavour, (except for Earl Grey, but I don't want to drink Earl Grey everyday.) Try TyPhoo I think you will like it.

My Favorite Cuppa!!!
As an American I didn't know there was anything in the world other than Lipton until the last decade thanks to the internet and I began enjoying more of what the rest of the world has to offer. It is good:) Of all the standard British teas I've settled on this one as I love the bold, mellow flavor that is consistent with every cup. I was a dedicated PG Tips lover until I had my first cup of Ty*Phoo and it was over for PG. They just were not consistent in flavor in every box or even in the teabags in the same box. But Ty*Phoo is not only a fantastically flavorful tea it is always consistent with every bag and every box!Now all we need is more Ty*Phoo products like their cups, mugs and tea tins to enjoy our Ty*Phoo with!

Best hot tea available
I have tried a whole assortment of teas to find the one i like best. My cousin gave me ty-phoo for christmas back in the 90's and i just loved it. but it was not available in any of the stores i went to so my tea odyssey began. While i'm not a big hot tea drinker, when i do have a cup for enjoyment sake, i want something that actually has a tea taste to it. Normally earl grey or english breakfast would do. But ty-phoo kicks those to the curb, easily. thank the stars for the internet! i now have a constant suppy. And don't think i haven't tried other teas that i can get online, i have. I keep going back to ty-phoo. Good stuff!

Good breakfast tea!
I like this tea allot. It's different from my regular PG Tips but very enjoyable. Nice, rich flavor and not allot of that bitter back taste. I would buy this again!

This is AWFUL tea!
There's something for everyone in this world but this tea is not for me! I found the taste downright earthy. Borderline repugnant and not worth drinking. I tossed the cup out after the 3rd sip, made another cup and tossed that out after the 1st sip. Then I threw it ALL out. Very, VERY disappointing. I didn't even find the aroma enticing. I'll stick with Barry's red or PG Tips, thanks.
