The tape does a cracking job - took a few goes to figure out how to use it and the small bits you have to cut off between labels seems unnecessary but the that's a printer issue not the tape's.My biggest problem is, of course, the need to print labels for things that don't need a label.This thing is addictive.I thoroughly recommend printing "do not read this label" and sticking it where it's not expected and waiting for the confused responses from colleagues etc.Don't tell the boss.

I like the brother labeling machines and have three different ones at home and on our boat. The paper labels are ok for filing etc. The iron on ones are ok for clothing but some of the other types of label lose their colour in sunlight or deteriorate outside. These strong labels are supposed to be tougher and less likely to suffer outdoors. So far they seem to do what they say they do. No colour loss, loss of adhesion or other deterioration after three months. Only time will tell.

Brother tapes are much better than the generic brands but they're also quite expensive compared. However, if you want a better, longer lasting finish, then the Brother branded ones are the ones to purchase.
