The gold color disappeared in less than 2 weeks.

These aren’t like any jump rings I’ve ever worked with. The ends overlap each other (so they don’t close flush unless you laboriously saw-cut each ring before use) or in some cases are cut way too far apart, obvious pinch-cutting marks, marred rings, etc. The plating is also WAY too thin for my liking when I did a scratch test. You’re better off trying to source gold-plated steel wire, using your own mandrel, and saw-cutting your own rings. Or if you want copper core and/or thicker plating, I think Creating Unkamen still offers vermeil-style gold plating on copper wire.At any rate, just…don’t subject yourself to these things. They’re a mess.

Excellent choice of stainless steel jump rings for jewelry projects. The box with divisions allows you to have easy access and in addition to having everything organized. They come in various sizes.

I bought this for making polymer clay earrings. I read reviews about how some thought it was flimsy, and you could pull them apart with your hands. I figured it was an exaggeration, but boy, was I wrong. These are so flimsy. I tried to make a dangle earring where the clay piece was on a chain of 8 or so jump rings, going from small to big. They all are easy to open with my fingers, just twisting. I tried grabbing on the earring post and the clay piece and pulling, and the jump rings just stretch open with ease. They're easy to use, but only because they pull apart with little force! Not suitable for jewelry making at all.

I really love the sizes and organization of these and the color is perfect. But about 75% of the jump rings were badly tarnished upon arrival. These black spots cant be polished because these are gold plated. Not sure if I got a bad batch or if they are all like this, but it's a bummer.

Does not look like the pretty gold in the picture. I received a very yellow gold which I do not like and very unsturdy

The jump rings start small at a 1, and get bigger up to 7, then 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 get progressively smaller again. I need the larger jump rings.

Just received them today. So far they are great. It would be nice to see if they stay great once they have been worn. Fingers crossed!
