A Quick & Easy Guide for definite!
*I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley/OniPress in exchange for an honest review.A book I wish I had access to when I was younger and a book I’m glad exists now. For years I struggled with my own sexuality believing I had to either be straight or gay. As I grew, how I identified changed especially with the confusion. When I finally came out as bisexual I felt such a huge relief, it felt the most applicable “label”, but as the book discusses - language evolves, and ultimately the label is there for you and not to classify yourself in a box. These days I’m more than happy to describe myself as bi/pan/queer and whatever the label means, I’m more than comfortable with my feelings and sexuality. There is something so very comforting in self-identifying and finding a community of people like you. That reason alone is why I could never personally be 100% comfortable with the “who cares about labels?” responses that can happen when sexuality is discussed, because that time where you find a community can be very special. The story is told through a lesson from snails about the humans they come across - humans are amazing and complex - and curiosity and the desire to learn propels us forward. Generally I’m not very good at saying “this book would be great for [age group]” since I find it depends on the individual, but I would for sure love to see this available in high school libraries and available to 11+ demographic. I think younger children certainly could handle topics of gender identity and sexuality (if anything I believe we underestimate them!) but I think would require more bite-size learning :)To my fellow LGBTQIA+ folks out there, you are all valid. <3

Wonderful guidance
As it says on the tin this is a quick and easy guide. It's bright and colourful and give lots of advise and explanations in a clear concise way, some helpful sections on recognising toxic relationships , giving yourself time to learn, time to enjoy your own company and self. It was really practical and supportive. It would be Good if this book was free for everyone in schools, libraries even to help people understand and also ask questions , a great start to helping people learn empathy and practice some humanity. I am really happy this book and others like it as being released would have loved them around when I was younger

Cute and informative graphic novel
*I would like to thank Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with an eARC in exchange for an honest review*This is a cute and informative graphic novel that not only talks about gender and sexuality but also toxic relationships. It does this in a respectful manner and in way that is easy to follow and understand. This is a book I feel that everyone should read in order for us all to be more empathetic and understanding of others and their identities.I gave this 4 out of 5 stars.

Wish we had this book as a kid.
'A Quick and Easy Guide to Queer and Trans Identities" is a long overdue "comic" that is fun to read and easy to understand. Mady G.'s art and J.R. Zuckerberg's writing compliment each other very well. The different characters serve as a message that diversity is beautiful, and that pride is a spectrum of appreciation. The book is presented like a 'Guide to Life' comic, which makes it perfect for ages 10+, and engaging enough to entertain an adult.

Good Book for Allies and Non-Allies Alike
I have queer children, so this book was not for me, but for my sister. She found it very informative. I'd be careful about gifting this to a religious nut or a kid younger than 11 or 12 because....sex-related content. Author has another excellent book out about consent. Also not good for religious nuts or little kids. I sure do wish they would have made the consent book compulsary reading in high school with a refesher in college, though!

A sweet, educational and supportive read
What's contained between these pages should not be underestimated, it can be very informative to anyone at any age. I've handed to my mom, she handed to my sibling and I hope it keeps going.
