Good harness and damn good spikes.. but the strap will work for a second tie off but can be difficult to adjust length. If you get this go ahead and buy at least a 10ft flip line. I have a 8ft and 14ft Steal core flip line. And I always carry 20ft of good climbing rope with me. Also have a 300ft life line I’ll pull up in the tree and tie it off then use a pursik knot with carabiner to my d-ring

A decent climbing set without being crazy expensive.The harness, I love. It’s solid with front and side attachment points and plenty of extra loops to hang gear.The strap, might be good for climbing utility poles or something that doesn’t change size, but it’s very difficult to adjust while you’re in the tree. It’s useful as a second strap to wrap once you’re up and wielding a saw.The spurs are OK. If I was going to use them a lot, I would probably want replaceable gafs to be able to use different lengths. Leather straps and leather uppers really are better. They’re more pliable and fit to your legs better. These have plastic and Velcro uppers which felt fine. What I didn’t like was the lower strap which was stiff and awkward. The first time I used them, I found my foot drifting forward to where I was just barely standing on my heel. The next time, I added some cloth strips around the bottom and around my boot and that worked really well. For the price, I’m happy with them.

Spikes are great.. light, sturdy, dependable, harness is very comfortable.. The lanyard however had two tears in in by the second tree we used it on...
