Above expectations
So I had high expectations for this, and it almost met my ridiculous expectations.I want to state that I read all the documentation on this adapter, and I was fully aware that it may not do what I wanted it to do because it never advertised that it would. It clearly states that you need an 87 watt USBC adapter.I was curious how far I could push the limits, though. So I've got this battery pack. Real thin, and almost double the watt hour rating of my MacBook air battery. It has a USBC port, but only outputs 5v 3A.Clearly there are a couple problems with this:Low voltageLow wattageSo while this does not work with my battery pack, it does work with just about everything else. As long as the power supply outputs 9v or greater, it will work. The 9v brick I have from Apple is the one that they sell for "fast charging" on the newer iPhones with a USBC to lightning cord. Using this adapter, the charging cuts in and out intermittently, but it will charge.I have another brick that is made by some other company and it outputs 12v and with this brick I get consistent charging. And of course if you use the large 87W brick that the specifications say you need, it will work flawlessly and I'm sure it'll charge quickly too.Again, it does not advertise to work on anything less than the big brick, so therefore I am impressed that it works with even small power adapters at all.Perhaps I could use a voltage converter to boost my 5v supply to 12v, or perhaps I could purchase a real portable laptop charger.Good stuff.

Works, but not at 85W
I have tried multiple type-c chargers, save a 100W charger, and none of them managed to push out the advertised 85W. All show up as 60W in System Report in macOS, and I measured the charging speed, and it seems to charge comparable to a 60W magsafe1 charger instead of an 85W charger. It's helpful when I'm carrying a type-c charger for my laptop but I need to test a Macbook with a magsafe1 port, but if I knew that this thing wasn't going to deliver 85W, I would've just bought the 60W version instead and saved some money.

Worked less than a month!
2 days after my window has closed for being able to return this item, my converter no longer works. Of course, I am away on a business trip and I cannot charge my computer now. Should have bought a different brand.

The keyboard is great to type with
Overall the product is good. Just that it makes it heavy when all used together. Protection is well protected. As compared with others, this one has the apple pencil holder and it keeps it always there when you need it.
