I have had my Roomba 650 for 6 years and it's still going strong. This is the second time I've had to replace the battery in all that time because the first replacement battery was only running for about 30 minutes. With this new battery, the Roomba will run an average of 60 minutes and almost 90 minutes if it can't find its way back to the base. I am a little disappointed in the capacity because you would expect much more than 60 minutes run time with 4500 mAh, which is considerably more than the original 3000 mAh, so don't get your hopes up that this thing will run for 90 minutes. As it is, it matches the original battery, which also did 60 minutes run time and 90 minutes on reserve.As for longevity, I've only had the battery for about 2 weeks so I can't tell how long the battery will last. My last replacement lasted almost 2.5 years and I am hoping this one will last 2 more years. By then, it should be time to retire the trusty 650 and get something new.***** UPDATE 3/29/2019 *****Bad news. The product has a 1 year warranty but after less than 6 months, the battery now lasts 35 minutes before it gets back to the dock to charge. This is happening consistently so it's not a one-time fluke. Basically, in 6 months, the battery has lost 50% capacity and trying to contact the seller for warranty on Amazon is an exercise in futility. But, will send them an e-mail and see if they respond. Oh, and the best part is this seller no longer sells this item.

If you look at the reviews, most of them are for a completely different battery! I bought it for my Roomba 551 and get ERR1, battery error, when I put it in, and it won’t charge. Looks the part but I installed it three times with the same result. Sifting through the actual Roomba reviews it looks like I’m not the only one.

Had a Roomba 650 for 5 years and the battery became incrementally worse. I considered buying a new robotic vacuum, but honestly the new specs aren't that impressive and the prices are still holding too high, so I though: eh, why not? Wow. It was easy to install and we charged it over night. My l'il vacuum friend ran around the house for close to an hour and a half on the first run, like he was a racehorse that went to see the "special vet" for a "peppy pill" before the big race! I'm extremely impressed with the run time. Super-happy I bought this battery. Now the poor 650 can waste time bouncing around the room like a drunken, 3-legged cockroach and still have enough time to get most of the floors vacuumed, forestalling the need for a new vacuum a little longer.

The battery I received does not work for my Roomba 770. When attempting to charge I get Error 1 code, and during the brief period that I ran my Roomba with this battery in (hoping I would drain the charge a bit and error message would stop) my Roomba was making a VERY loud squealing sound. I put the old battery back in and the squeal was gone.I cleaned everything I could think of and tried again, same error when attempting to charge and same terrible sound coming from my Roomba in operation.The only positive in this purchase was the no hassle return!

I have a 595 Roomba. Purchased the replacement battery 11-28-18. It died a week ago. I've gone through every video cleaned and recleaned but it's not charging. I learned that you have to reset the battery upon installation. No directions came with it but I did find it on a video. I spent a fortune on my Roomba and love it but if you can't replace the battery then don't buy the Roomba or a replacement battery just know Roomba has a VERY short lifespan.

This did not work for my Irobot 550 for charging but with initial use it ran for almost 2 hours but would not charge.

It is to replace the original battery which can only work for 5 minutes now. This new battery can complete a few rooms before return to charging station. I did not measure how long it can last but it is good enough, at least same as original new battery. Very good value for this quality.

My iRobot Roomba 620 was quitting after vacuuming for just 10 minutes. Finally, I realized I needed a new battery. This was only $20. It took my husband just a minute to install then I let it charge a full day before using my Roomba again. Yay!! It's like new again.
