I love how this series is so cute for kids. It shows how listening to everyone’s ideas is important and not shamming them for their ideas. How teamwork is important and sharing, even if they aren’t on your team!

Hilarious book that follows up the first nicely.

my grandson got the first book at the libary and wanted to read more and so he ask me for his Christmas present if I could find the rest and get them to him for Christmas. Well I knew that Amazon would have them or no one would. Got them and when he opened them up he had to read them all before he would go to bed.

Had a happy grandchild.

This book is GREAT! It's way better than the first one. I am 9 years old and for you mom and dads out there? It is worth the $$$. Your sons or daughters will LOVE this book. This is about stick dog Hungry again. But this time he does not want a burger. What should he have? Recommended for 8-10. Tom Watson did a good job.

I bought this for my son who is 9years old, he loves it! It's a great book for any kid.

My kids don't enjoy reading like I wish. But they both liked Stick Dog, and wish the writer would hurry up and put out more. The story is silly but cute, but not deep at all. I left out one star simply because it's the THAT great in my opinion, but enough stars to indicate the kids like it.

I would like to personally shake Tom Watson's hand for having inspired my 7 year old to read again! My son is a good reader and began to read longer books independently last year, but just after Christmas, he suddenly lost interest and reading became a chore. In an effort to pique his interest again, we had an outing to a book shop and discovered the original 'Stick Dog.' My son loved it! The combination of his favourite thing in the world (i.e., dogs) and the fact that 'Stick Dog' himself is created because of the author's (apparent) drawing limitations (something from which my son also feels he suffers) was simply too good to miss. My son couldn't put it down and could be found frequently laughing out loud and as soon as he'd finished, asked if there were any more 'Stick Dog' books.As a result, I found myself pre-ordering 'Stick Dog Wants a Hot Dog' and the day it arrived, my son was so excited and couldn't wait to get started. Neither of us were disappointed. All of the entertaining elements from the first book were still there, along with even more laugh out loud moments (not just from my son). It's a great mix of humour, adventure and downright silliness that will - I have no doubt - appeal to many children. My son has since taken his copy to school to share with his friends and is desperate to read the next Stick Dog adventure. As my son would say, it was 'wooftastic!'

Bought for son who wanted to wear his Hotdog costume for world book day and needed a book to go with it 🤣

My grandson loves this book. He is 7 and reads every night before bed. Funny with clear writing and pictures. Perfect to encourage independent reading.Delivered on time so very happy.
