Wow... I guess I've never been spoiled with something like this before (cries), but this is the most beautiful and luxurious blanket I've ever seen or used in my life. Sleeping with it almost makes up for sleeping alone for the entirety of my life (lmao). My whole family is now ordering one for themselves after they've seen it. It is a bit pricey at $60+, but it is worth every penny for its quality and comfort. It is incredibly soft and more than heavy and warm, although not as thick as imagined (yet not an issue).However just an important FYI, the color I ordered was hunter green, and instead I received a dark teal type of color between blue and green (as shown in the picture uploaded). But I actually love the color and I'm just as content with it (fortunately I had matching teal sheets).

Was very excited to receive this blanket. But was sorely disappointed, after the first wash the edges started separating. On the second wash one whole side was ripped out. Unfortunately I bought a King & Queen and they are both falling apart. Now I have to spend money to replace them....

I bought this for my daughter who suffers from anxiety and depression. The weight helps her sleep well at night. She takes the blanket everywhere. It follows her around the house. She will drape it over her shoulders while watching tv on the couch and it helps comfort and relax her. I recommend this blanket to those who are comforted by a heavy blanket. It's super soft also.

I ordered this because I already own a "Korean Mink" blanket that is a true 2 ply, as in it is two blankets sewn together with a matching finished edging and I was looking for a smaller one that was comparably as heavy for it's size. This blanket is not 2 ply, but it is very soft and luxurious. The weight given in description is accurate. It is ultra silky and soft, it is heavy duty compared to your typical department store velvet finish blanket. It is a beautiful blanket.

!!Caution!!This product is so comfortable might lead to an inability of getting out of bed, which causes longer naps and severe procrastination.Works best between 50 - 80°F ambient room temperature.This is my first Amazon review, which I'm writing from "under" this blanket.The way I use it, is to lay one half vertically along my twin mattress and fold the other over my body, essentially making myself a human-blanket taco. It works amazingly well.If you really want a blanket or a "throw" good for a wide temperature range, do yourself the favor and buy this thing.It might seem a bit pricey, but since it's something you'll use at least twice a day and is totally worth it.

At first I was pissed its not two layers thick like another reviewer stated. But I decided to give it a try for one night and see how it felt. I'm definitely keeping it!! Its not quite as heavy as I'd have liked (my ex has the actual one from Korea with two layers). It turned out to be just right. On a flannel sheet, it was like getting into a warm bed. It didn't matter where I moved in the bed, it was not cold. The binding is well made. I would seriously order a size larger than what you need. I ordered King for my Queen bed and there is only a few inches of hang on either side. Overall I would buy this product again.

This is what heaven must be like!! Floating on a cloud of softness, warmth and comfort. Never wanting to leave the heavy plush confines of my king-size bed. A blanket like no other that I have experienced in my 68 years of living. Almost indescribably wonderful! Okay, so do I really like it, you ask? A great big resounding YES!!!Pro's --------1) Extremely warm, but doesn't make me sweaty.2) Feels light, even though it is 9 lbs.3) Extremely soft and plush, with almost a spongy feel.4) Beautiful color, not beige, not ivory, sort of a rich cream. It's not pinkish like the Amazon photo.5) Very well made, with perfect stitching and corners rounded instead of squared off.6) Reversible, with one side having a smooth slight "sheen" and the other side having a "furry" look and feel. It is one blanket, not 2 blankets sewn together.Con's --------1) Too short on sides. It hangs no more than one foot over each side. It hasn't been a problem for us though, probably because we sleep so soundly that there's no tossing and turning.2) The brand name VIVALON in LARGE letters is stamped in ORANGE on one the corner of the blanket!! Was this REALLY necessary??I've only had this blanket for 4 days I and am so excited about it that I just had to rush to my computer to tell everyone about it. It's amazing to be able to sleep in a cotton sleep shirt with lightweight socks and still feel toasty under just a top sheet and this blanket on a cold night. (Cold by Houston, Texas standards!). This afternoon, my husband said, "Aren't you going to get out of bed today?" I replied, "I want to but this blanket won't let me!"At least one reviewer said they had trouble with the blanket sliding off the bed during the night. I believe someone has already addressed this problem in a comment. The person who commented stated that if the blanket was put on the bed with the "sheen" side up and the "furry" side down, that would solve the problem. We like the "sheen" side best as far as looks so we didn't test it out to see if we experienced the same problem.I could have knocked off one star for the 2 con's but I just could not bring myself to do it. Too many pro's about this wonderful blanket. It is worth every penny and I highly recommend it.

I bought a king size burgundy color blanket for my queen size bed. It's not as thick and heavy as my other Korean blankets (one purchased by my dad when he was stationed in Korea and mailed to me). It weighs just a little over 8 pounds. It is very soft and I love the color. It is a dark red. I will attach a picture of it with a true red to compare.

Me gustó mucho el producto, pero cabe notar que el tacto es diferente en la parte superior y la inferior de la manta. También me hubiera gustado que fuera un poco más pesada, pero eso es un gusto personal. Fuera de esos dos detalles estoy muy satisfecho con mi compra.
