Glorious Grits: America's Favorite Comfort Food

Lovely book, great recipes. I would recommend this to anyone, had the book not gone out of print... Hope this will go back into print.

I originally bought this at Ollies, for a steal, and LOVED it. (I'm from N.C., so grits are a staple, in my house). I made the grits stuffing, for Thanksgiving that year, and it was a big hit! I made the mistake of letting a coworker's wife borrow it; and they switched jobs, and I never got it back. So, I ordered it from Amazon. That's how much I like this book...enough to buy it TWICE!

Loads of yummy sounding recipes. I have not made any yet but my family loves grits and I am looking forward to try alot of these out.

I love grits and I love this book. Having been born in the south and raised on grits, I am a bit fussy about how my grits are prepared (and they have to be real grits, none of that instant stuff).This author knows the subject and writes well about it.Even though I know a lot about grits and have a significant collection of recipes using this product, I learned several important things from reading this book and am impressed by many of the recipes.This is a winner!

An in-depth and fun book about Grits.

I bought this for my daughter who loves to cook and who loves grits. The recipes are mouth watering. The picture is from a recipe I made. It turned out good considering I can’t realky cook. Good instructions. Good pictures. Good grits.

I had decided not to buy any more cookbooks for a while, and then my cousin had to go and show me this one. I found several things I wanted to make, so had to get myself a copy. I have made a couple things out of it so far and they have been great!

This cookbook has easy, simple to follow recipes for grits that are simply delicious! Grits has always been delegated to be a Southern food but are becoming popular all over the United States. You don't want to miss these recipes!! Lists businesses for purchase of stone-ground grits which are a must to have for these recipes--so different from store-bought grits. Buy this cookbook, stir up some grits and enjoy!!

Bought this for my daughter after she saw my copy which I bought on a trip to Alabama earlier this year. The recipes are delicious if you have never tried grits you should they are amazing. The recipes in here are wonderful and easy to make. You can substitute Polenta for grits which are hard to obtain in the UK.
