Buyers beware this listing should be removed. Seems like 95% of the reviews are fake and have nothing to do with this adapter. Just scroll down and see for yourself they’re about an entirely different product.The product itself is terrible. Looks like Apple feels like Apple but it’s not at all close. Need to plug in an ac adapter and use some app to connect. App barely worked and cord kept on coming out of the phone. Ended up returning and buying an Apple one. What a difference.

I upgraded my phone to the droid turbo and needed a new case to run with. I was hesitant to purchase any seeing there was no good feedback, but when it arrived today, I was SO EXCITED that it was the SAME armband I had for my razr maxx, only bigger. This band is wonderful. I've ran hundreds of miles with it on, in pouring rain, pouring water on me and it stays dry. The biggest thing I want to clarify is that you absolutely CAN utilize the phone features with the case on and I have a thicker screen protector too. I've texted, called, etc while running with it on. Yes, the Velcro is long, but my mom can hack it off and resew it do its not so long, just like my last one. Thank you for making this excellent product larger. I am more than pleased to have it with me when I'm running my races

I bought this to stream from my phone for shows I can watch on my tv. My son ended up plugging it in to a projector and it is amazing! Makes for great for movies, shows, and sports nights outside when the weather is nice! Definitely a great purchase!

Having just replaced it with the Apple equivalent, I can say that this item is substandard in these ways:1. It did not connect with the iPad Air 2 in such a way as to display native horizontal format. Instead, I got a horizontally stretched and distorted image, which filled the monitor and was cut off at the vertical and horizontal margins. This was the same for iPhone in horizontal mode with both this and the Apple adapters. Both this and the Apple adapter worked in vertical format on the iPad and Iphone, producing an image, which used the full vertical dimension of the monitor.2. It got disturbingly warm and failed to pass enough power to charge the iPad.3. The image brightness was off (dark).In sum, I don't think this is worth the savings over OEM. Other manufacturers might also be okay.

This device is great for me to show different videos to my class from my phone onto the classroom television!

Purchased two of these. One for my wife (who uses the gym & various equipment in the gym) and one for myself (mainly for running and yard work). We both have Droid Turbo 2s in otterboxes (my wife - Otterbox DEFENDER; me - Otterbox Commuter [i wanted a defender but they were out]). I read several reviews that the armband could accommodate our phones w/ the otterboxes. However, when we tried it it - my wife's phone (Droid Turbo 2 w/ DEFENDER otterbox WOULD NOT FIT) and we returned hers. My phone - Droid Turbo 2 w/ Commuter Otterbox fits well - though it's a bit snug. I have been using it for running for about 2 weeks now (around 5 times a week). However, i noticed some of the stitching (at the top of the armband where my ear buds connect) is coming loose due to my constant removal of my phone. I will eventually have to purchase a new armband if this doesn't hold up -- guess i should've held on to my wife's. Even if the stitching goes i think i will still be able to get some use out of the armband before it breaks down completely. I would guess the armband was designed to be used with JUST THE PHONE not a phone in a case.

This is not a true apple adapter, and as such only sort of worked for a day and then didn't work at all. I then purchased a real apple adapter to confirm, and sure enough, the real one works perfectly. It even charges the ipad while using it, whereas this knock-off one for half the price did not.I've always been a 'a cable is a cable' guy, which started from when Monster cables were double the price and not double the benefit. This, however, is not the case. If you want a working cable at all, don't buy this one! Do yourself a huge favor and do not even waste your time on this cheaper non-apple adapter. Bite the bullet and spend double for the real apple adapter and it will actually work.

Just wanted to confirm for everyone that I am able to get my Droid Turbo into the armband with the case on. Also, consistent with the other reviews, I was not able to use the screen through the plastic cover. But I use this for my bike rides and the main objective is to have access to my music and have a phone with me for emergencies and it is perfect for that.
