Excellent product
The landing gear shipped quickly and appear to be of excellent quality. I replaced my existing single motor landing gear set up with these. Now each leg has its own motor and my nose heavy 5th wheel raises and lowers much easier. The new landing gear support tabs didn't exactly match up to the existing supports on my 5th wheel. I took the new landing gear to a local machine shop and had them move and re-weld the tabs on the landing gear so that they would match my 5th wheel. This was easier than hauling the trailer to the shop and having them move the supports on the trailer. Once the tabs and supports lined up, the install was a piece of cake. It took me about an hour to swap out the old gear for the new gear. I later did some creative wiring and now have options to run both landing gear at once from one switch or to run each landing gear individually from their own switches. I am very happy with the product.

Ultra-Fab Landing gear for 5th Wheel
I broke my old landing gear and had to replace one side. Thinking about how it broke I decided to go with the two separate motors and replace both sides. Ordered from Amazon on Tuesday and got them at my door in Alaska on Friday, I was stunned how fast they got here. My old landing gear weighed quite a bit less than these new ones...even though their legs were a little longer. The U-F legs have welds that prevent the leg from accidentally sliding, my old legs did not. The short red and black wires coming from the motor are 14-16 gauge, but All other wires are 10 gauge. I used automotive connectors that use a flame to seal the splices that makes them water tight. They sent about 6 feet more of all four colored wires than I needed, so that was good. Instructions were dirt simple and installation of the first leg took about 15 minutes. I spent most of my time building a water proof box to install the separate switches (which took about a hour as I was very particular on how it turned out. My only Minor complaints is that the up/down switches are not marked for up or down, so I had a 50/50 chance of installing them in the orientation that I wanted and I got it right the first time. These motors seem more powerful each than my old 30 amp single motor. Finally, the installed grease zerts are a must on all jacks (I wish I had known that before the failure of my old legs). High quality, great instructions, prompt delivery...a perfect score!

Very very happy with these
Very very happy with these. Installed in my 2003 Ragen 30 foot fifth wheel. I was lucky, my brackets were already 13.5" apart, so they went in super easy. The switches are super stout, with 10 AWG wire soldered to each terminal. Now with a motor on each side, my 5th wheel goes up and down easy. And also, these jacks are more stable, there's noticeably less wiggle inside the rig now.Since each leg now has it's own switch and motor, you don't suffer if one leg is touching and the other is not when you first pull the pins and extend the legs and find the nearest hole. If one is slightly higher, you just lower that leg. It's beautiful. Do not let independent legs scare you into thinking your trailer will be "twisted" or "torqued". When my older jacks failed, I had to remove the crossbar because the driven leg was binding. I could lift the trailer using this one leg only. Sure it dipped on the other side a little, but I used a bottle jack to even it out. Now with these new jacks, they go down very even when you hold both switches. These are just killer. The jacks, switches and wiring are all top notch quality.

CHECK FUNCTION BEFORE YOU USE
Ordered and installed these last year. Everything worked. Winterized and stored trailer. Wasn’t able to use trailer until now, a year later. Went to put trailer on my truck, one leg quit. Since installation, the leg has only traveled about 8 inches. I’d order from somewhere you would get better support than here.

Work as advertised
Great product, good customer service from the manufacturer. I wrote them for mounting dimensions to see if the mounting brackets would line up on my old legs (single motor unit rated at 4K lbs (for a 15K trailer - come on!)) that burned out after a few years of use.) The response from Ultra-Fab customer service was immediate and comprehensive, however the mounting dimensions were not even close, so I opted to remove the "tabs" on the new legs (grinder) and weld them back on instead of cutting the old brackets (welded on) from the frame and welding the new ones on. The distance was not exactly the same on both sides so I was able to adjust the tabs exactly where they needed to be.Actual installation took about four hours from start to finish taking my time: one hour for tabs, 15 minutes to crank up trailer by hand and hook it up to my truck (about 200 cranks on level ground), then maybe 20 minutes to uninstall the existent legs each side, 30 each side to install, and an hour to install the wiring. One thing that could be much better (hence the four stars) would be a pre-wired three switch panel to allow both independent and simultaneous actuation of the motors. I changed out the provided bulky toggle switches with new rocker (mom on /off/ mom on) switches for a flush surface mount.Note: There is no option to hand crank the landing gear in case of a motor failure that I know of.

Worked Great
I have a 2018 KZ Sportsman 5th wheel. I had the dual feet with a single motor to run both previously. This was a very daunting task for me. I thought it was going to be a major project and was a little intimidated by it. These bolted right in with no welding required. It was much easier than i thought it would be. Total time was 2 1/2 hours. Now that i have done it, i could probably do it in 1 1/2 hours. I would recommend getting an Atwood 3 button switch with this. The switches that come with it are ugly and bulky,
