Vent Filter Set 20" x 84" Electrostatic Media + 126" of Tape

This filter is absolutely perfect for my wall vent it was easy to install in easy to replace thank you so much I love the product

I am writing a review, as I am a HUGE review reader. How do you know what you are getting if you don't get feedback from people who have bought it, right?! I was a little skeptical at first, as some stated it blocked airflow and created their system to work harder. In reading the reviews, there was a verified buyer that stated she was able to pull the material apart so that the material wasn't so thick. I did this very same thing with ease when I received my filter. It was almost as if you could see exactly where you needed to pull it apart to get half the filter.The other complaint was that the tape was not sticky enough. OK, I am an anal freak about keeping things clean but pulling off my registers throughout the house and cleaning them is not on the top of my cleaning list! LOL! Before putting the tape on the outside of my register, I cleaned the register vent first. I then dried the vent and applied rubbing alcohol to a cotton ball and wiped down the area I was going to apply the sticky side of the Velcro too. This worked like a charm! That Velcro is going nowhere and is fully secured!Not enough Velcro? By taking the time to clean the vent, I used very little Velcro. I cut off about a 1/4 inch for each corner of my vents! So 128 inches of Velcro can go a long way! When applying the filter to the Velcro, I pressed down firmly on one end to make sure the filter was going to stick to the Velcro and then I was able to pull on the filter to make the filter taunt over the register.Does it still keep dust and dander down in the house in using half the thickness of the filter? YES!! IT'S AMAZING!!! Each and every morning I would wake up to my glass top stove covered in dust! Not anymore!! Yes, there were little specs of dust on top of my stove, but nothing like it used to be! Also, there is plenty of air flow moving through the filter, so I don't have to worry about my system working hard.This purchase was a win win for me! I suffer from allergies, and I am a cat owner, which makes things even more challenging for my husband and I throughout the long winters in Wisconsin. It seems my heater is running consistently, as I am now working out of my home. A person doesn't realize how much dust is flying around in the air until you have to work in it all day. I absolutely love this product and I feel that the amount of product you get for the price is sufficient.

I bought this in Jan of 2021 ... used in a rental house. It seemed to help. What I really like about it: It's awesome around the pump for my garden fountain! In the 7 months (this season) of running the pump I only had to clean it out 1 time! The year before I was constantly cleaning gunk out. I used hardware cloth to form a cage around the pump.(Pic 1) Then wrapped a layer of this filter media around that cage, held in place by a second larger one and popped it into the reservoir.(Pic 2) I'm really looking forward to replacing that outer cage with a pond filter kit that has a frame and a mesh bag enclosing it.

This is a lomg.overdue review. I purchased these to prevent cat air from entering the vents on my treadmill. I recently moved and while there're was cat hair around the base, zero cat hair or dust entered the vent.10 out of 10, would recommend!!!

The filter material is so dense that it restricts the air flow from the register into the room. Makes your HVAC work harder and longer to get to the desired temperature. Also, if it is catching particulate matter, then you'd better have your ductwork cleaned, which I did before I installed these filters. Not enough velcro tape is supplied to secure very edge of the filter, so air blows past the filter where it isn't taped. If you are going to use this product, best to cut to fit inside the register, then the tape isn't needed and you can't see the filter unless looking down directly at the register. I took all mine off and threw them away.

It works

I recently moved into an apartment complex that was supposed to be pest free and smoke free… Couple of days after moving in we started smelling a lot of cigarettes smoke and weed as well. We first thought it was coming from the door or windows, since people would go to the balconies to smoke, but nope… we learned that our next door neighbor smokes inside and the smoke smell comes from all the ac vents and the bathroom vent when the AC is not running. I got this “filter” to cover the AC vents. I sprayed the filter with odor ban to see if it helps. I will let you guys know more about its efficiency after couple of days.I decided to cover the vents from the inside, so I could still redirect the vent from the outside, and because of that I used a lot of the fabric. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment, so I only have 3 ac vents to cover. I covered all of them and have enough fabric to change all of them once more with a little bit to spare, but if you cover from the front I would say you should have enough for a good 28 vents.
