TekneticsEuroTek PRO Metal Detector with 8-Inch Concentric Coil

I bought this as a christmas present for my Dad. I wanted something costing no more than £200-£250 but at the same time, wanted to make sure I had something I felt was powerful enough to actually find something!After about 4 or 5 nights of research, decided that this was the best machine I could find -and well within my price range. I looked at around 30 detectors and found myself always comparing them to this one. It seemed to have exactly what I wanted........ a simple display screen and with minimal buttons, so my dad wouldn't get too confused. It also claimed to have some tech usually associated with the more expensive machines, which was encouraging.Everything arrived on time, exactly as described and once the weather had cleared we set upon it. We haven't found our fortune yet but the detector certainly works. It tells you the type and depth of the buried object and can precisely pinpoint it with a little practice. I've run a few different items past the search coil and it detects much deeper than I expected. Especially on small items such as rings and coins.I am more than confident that if you're in the right place, you'll find things with this machine. I would definately recommend it. The next step is to buy one for myself -and I am.

Great switch on and go detector, definitely finds stuff, I've found coins, lead objects, and of course iron, but eady enough to discriminate out. I have bought headphones to use with mine.Pinpointer noise is a bit annoying!Used in same field as a nox 800 with BETTER results. I'm UK based.

It’s brilliant so easy to assemble an use

I did a lot of research for the bottom of the range machines. It was between this eurotek pro and the cheap looking garret 250. I asked people that had been doing it for years and most highly recommended the eurotek pro for over all quality for money and performance. Apparently most upgrade their garret in 6 months. I had my eurotek pro for 2 years and found hammered coins roman and celtic artifacts. I am so glad I picked this machine. And I have the smallest coil there is for it. But I am about to upgrade my coil to the cors strike. Which will put my eurotek pro on par with 400 pound machines.

Ive had this for just over a week now and its fantastic . I love it so much very good value for money its paying for its self well too we have found hammerd coins all sorts i must have over 80 coins already one hell of a md fair play strongly advize over the garrett 250 anyday of the week 110%
