This is the light that goes anywhere. We put them on our keychains, keep a spare in the car, on our work badges, and on our dog collars. These lights come in several fun colors to add to your repertoire. The light is bright and can be used as a small flash light or to keep you noticed at night. There's a small switch in the middle of the light that you slide forward to keep the light on for hands-free mode, or you can press the center of the light for instant off/on needs. For example, I use the hands-free mode in patient rooms at night so I don't have to turn bright room lights on. I use the press method to walk up the stairs of my house or to walk my dogs in yard. We have one on each collar to make the dogs visible during night walks too. I've used my light roughly 1-2 hours/week for the last 6 months and my keychain light is still going strong. We change the light on our nurse badges once a year.

These are not going to get you unlost on a night hike.However, they are bright enough to illuminate a tent, you could use them to read in the dark, and they are acceptable for a quick jog to the potty hole if you already know where it is. I have one on my keyring, so I don't have to stand at my front door late at night after a long workday trying to find the keyhole when I have to pee. For the price, what you get is worth it. Gave a few away to friends, who thought they were the neatest thing since...well, I don't know what. But they were happy to get them, so there's that.

Good for lots of things

I purchased these because I needed flashlights for a second grade science lesson. We were studying the phases of the moon and why stars disappear during the day. I needed 14 flashlights. I was not about to spend $6.00 per flashlight. This was a perfect solution. Each group had access to two flashlights (including the other ones I had as well). The children successfully moved through the details of this lesson with ease. I am glad I made this purchase.

I consider these as good value for my purposes. My early morning walks in the Fall and Winter have some dark spots between street and path lights. These little flashlights serve my purpose well. A bonus is that when the battery gives out you can easily replace it

To open my home when I get home and it's dark.

there is no switch for on/off. If you want it on then you have to keep squeezing, let up pressure and off. My fingers are numb so this is an issue for me.

does what i needed it to do. My 89yr old mom loves it as she has trouble seeing. so it gives her a good light to unlock her door and other items

Not bad. But you get what you paid for ... on the cheap side
