Big SkinnyWomen's Zippered Wallet

I've always been a Coach girl but I was getting tired of how much space my Coach checkbook wallet was taking up and how heavy it was to carry. I have several slim purses and the large wallet often distorted the look of the purses. I'm very happy with this wallet. It holds everything I need and the two clear plastic slots are nice if you have multiple photo ids. I kind of wish I'd gone with the bi-fold because it's even thiner but I'm quite happy with this one. More color options too would have been nice (most of their other products have more options) but I'm pleased with the purple; it looks exactly like the photo and it's easy to find in my purse (my of them have black lining). I can't speak to the durability yet but it feels well make, the card slots are correctly sized and there's an extra divider in the top money section which is nice for separating out higher bills/emergency money/etc.In terms of the size after it was filled - virtually no change! I put everything (meaning each card slot is filled, some with multiple cards) I had in my 1.5" Coach into it and I hardly noticed a change.In short, I've already recommended this wallet to family and friends. It's fantastic as a means of lightening your purse and particularly useful for traveling. I'm keeping my Coach wallets but they'll be in storage unless I need a clutch. I'll definitely be buying another Big Skinny wallet in the future (who can resist all the different colors/styles?!)!

Attractive, Lightweight and thin with many slots for cards, 2 places for bills, and a change compartment. I love these. I have 3. I have a bad back and need to eliminate all excess weight in my purse. These wallets fit the bill!

I lost my Vera Bradley wallet and had been using a child’s novelty trifold wallet. I thought I would be building a Vera Bradley passport wallet because I like those - but they are 2-3 times larger than this one. I like this better!I only keep 5 cards total, a golf pencil, a few quarters, a few bucks, and some notes. It couldHold tons more. I think it would hold chapstick, honestly.It fits in a belt bag/Fanny pack, along with keys, phone, sunnies.I like the feel of the material and I like the design.This seems really durable and like I might not need to buy another small wallet ever. Heck, it would even fit into one of the VB passport wallets!

Maybe a left-handed person designed this. I dunno. From my POV, it opens up the wrong way. My inclination is to open it like you would a book, i.e., turning the “page” from right to left. If you do that, the pockets for your cards and cash are upside down. Clearly not the way to open it. If you hold it so that the logo is horizontal and open it by turning the “page” up, then the openings for the first set of cards are on the left. I want to slide the cards out using my right hand, not my left. So that is, for me, not the way to open it either. Maybe this is the way these kinds of wallets always open, and I am just clueless. But I had to train myself to open it up against my instincts. All that said, I do like this a lot. Lightweight, seems plenty sturdy, holds everything I need. Love the print and the fabric.

I thought that would be an easy task but it was all but that!!!First of all, I carry a lot in a wallet -- credit cards, library cards, driver's license, club member cards, discount cards, parking garage and building entry cards, any gift cards I'm given, a few pictures, cash, change, a couple of computer flash sticks, an extra car and house key, and receipts from purchases throughout the day. The two prior no brand wallets were ideal, very cleverly designed and thin. They fit the bill (excuse the pun) and all else I needed to carry; yet in retrospect, were a tad bulky but nevertheless a very acceptable tradeoff.I looked high and dry for days for a functional replacement, scouring the web for men's wallets. To my amazement and disappointment, there was absolutely nothing out there like the wallet I was wanting to replace nor anything found of similar functional design or capacity equivalence. Very disappointing! So next, I decided to scour the market for woman's wallets. Indeed the offerings in woman's wallets are far more in number and of greater variety and capacity than those found under "Men's wallets." Several of the woman's wallets were of the desired capacity and design but according to their advertised dimensions were too thick and/or too long that they would protrude out of the pocket.Then I came across this one from Big Skinny. VOILA! All requirement were met, and nicely so! Just love this wallet! It's just about perfect. I even, ordered two extra ones for longevity. I do not want to waist the time and incur the frustration of another exhaustive search should this one be discontinued down the road! By the way, all of the Big Skinny wallets are thin, yet this is the only one among both their men's or women's wallets, that met my stated needs and requirements in design, capacity and size to contain all that I described above.PRECAUTIONARY NOTES: This wallet is 7-1/2 inches by 3-1/2" inches. You won't be able to carry this wallet it in a back pocket -- it obviously would protrude up and out. It should, however, fit in most men's pants side pockets. I have no problem at all. If you wear tight fitting pants, this wallet (or any for that matter) may feel uncomfortable when sitting. And given the 3-1/2" inch width and comparatively smooth and bit slick material, this wallet could relatively easily slip out of your pocket if ever you decide to do a cart wheel on the sidewalk. So if you're considering this wallet, just make sure your pants pockets are deep enough and you remain upright!Some of what I like about this wallet:1) Fits everything I want it do, as listed above.2) Being completely lateral (not a bi-fold or tri-fold), it doesn't need to be folded and thus can fit everything without doubling the bulk.3) Cash bills are not folded (as is aghast in especially tri-fold wallets!)4) Cards and other contents cannot fall out of this wallet unless you want them to and so try!5) Two full length compartments that can hold bills, checks, or any items that exceed card slot width, and which can be further compartmentalized, as I have done with inserts for the aforementioned spare keys and computer flash sticks.6) Is man-made, non-leather material. Also, appears to be well-made, very durable and is expected to be long-wearing.7) Zipper pocket for change.So men, get over it! Just buy this very practical women's wallet! I bought four, including 2 as backups and one for my daughter. At that time, it also came in black, brown and blue. I believe all that's currently offered (7/2014), at least on Amazon, is the purple. There is also a black one, but it is in leather -- not the nice, thin and durable synthetic material of the others. I'm not sure if and when the other colors will become available. Nevertheless, this wallet is so good and useful that I'd use it in any color I had to.

I love this thin wallet. It’s so slim, and doesn’t take up much room at all in my handbag. I’m diabetic so I care a lot in my handag, this helps when carrying money and credit cards all in one place.

I love this wallet. It has the exact right spaces for my cards - debit, credit, health insurance, emergency contacts…. I’m sure it will get dirty, but it will be easy to hand wash. The pattern is cut and noticeable in my bag. There are two long sections - I use one for cash and one for receipts. The coin purse is doesn’t get to stuffed full and it’s easy ti get change out of. Perfect for me.

all my previous wallet contents fit into this relatively small wallet. It is so light and so compact, and i am so happy. I sure don't know how this wallet maker conjures this, but it works. I thought this wallet was awfully pricey when I ordered it, but now i think it was a great deal!

I wish I found this wallet years ago! Small enough to fit in my fanny pack, but still lots of room for all my cards! Love the design and functionality!

How did I ever live without this wallet? I have shoulder injury, so have downsized my purse (who really needs all that stuff?) and lightened the load. I also re-examined my need for a leather wallet and chose the thin, lightweight Big Skinny instead. Huge improvement, and all my cards and change fit! Thank you!
