A Circle of Men: The Original Manual for Men's Support Groups - New Edition, September 2015, with ManKind Project History - 5 New Chapters

I have built my own mens group from scratch, using this as a foundation for the structure of the group, which is supported by other books I've read such as NMMNG and WOTSM.Our group found the exercises in this book extremely valuable for increasing self-awareness. Particularly your own emotions, and how to communicate them effectively.I give it 4 stars, as it's pricey now that it's out of print, and there might be better guides via the internet. Also, a couple of the exercises are a bit unclear and we have to think about what the intent was behind it. But this is still worth the cost if you want to start a mens group.

Still reading this book but it has important information on starting and facilitating an Open men's group. I'm a mankind project initiated person and bill is one of the co-founders of that organization which I find has become very valuable to me in my life for personal growth and bonding with men.

As a New Warrior entering the final phase of his Integration Group experience, I bought this book to use as a source for group exercises. I was disappointed to learn that there are few exercises fully explained in the book that we haven't already covered in the first two cycles of the I-group. There is a comprehensive list of ideas for group exercises but that hardly seems worth the price of the book. We all have ideas, but what is needed are practical and in-depth suggestions for their implementation. I would recommend this book only to men who are not involved with the New Warrior Training Adventure. If you are a New Warrior, you will experience in your I-group everything this book has to offer, so save your money.

Hooray for the publication of this book. But most of it is "old hat" by now.

This is an excellent resource for running a Mens' Group and contains a lot of information and suggestions on how to share what is on our minds.

this work by Bill Kauth, sets a new expectation for men growing into their authentic warm selves!

Bill Kauth has been instrumental in empowering men to move out of the dysfunctions most of us suffer under. If you feel you could do with some true and honest and to the point support as a man, this is a good place to start from!
