Works right out of the package
I like that I simply plugged it in and it worked. There was no configuring that had to be done. There is a sheet that comes with it with different bar codes on it to scan to adjust its functions. For example if you want it to stay on scan continuously, you scan one of the bar codes on the included sheet for that function for it to do that. It may sound a bit odd but once you see the sheet then you'll understand. I also took a picture of the sheet to see if I could scan the codes from the picture on my phone and it work...and it did. I took a picture in case I misplaced the paper. My only issue is I wish the sound was louder. Other than that its exactly what I need.

Good product if you can invest some time
In nearly all respects, this hand scanner has worked beautifully for the convenience store I work at. The only issue has been trying to figure out how to program the wireless button functions. The manual was in so many foreign languages, I had a hard time finding English!

Good Scanner. Listing description is Wrong.
The scanner works great. Scans fine. Easy to use. However, the listing is wrong. It DOES NOT INCLUDE a wireless dongle like it claims to. If wired is ok, you'll be happy. But don't trust what the description says and expect Bluetooth.

Manual is useless
The manual that comes with this scanner is terrible. It is written in broken English and the barcodes for altering the settings do not work. I wanted to turn off the sound and turn on automatic scanning but neither barcode worked. The scanner does scan as expected, you just can't change the settings.

Inexpensive, but didn't work for us
In our environment I need to be able to input check digits along with the barcode - this matches our warehouse RF guns. Seems this device doesn't have options to read in the check digit, so we returned.

Grab a bar code....it'll scan it.
Works....slap this bad boy in a usb port on your laptop. Shove your laptop on a rack shelf and start inventorying the entire Telco room. DONE. Go buy one.

I bought a second one
It scan almost anything. It is plug and play and cheap. I bought a second one for my team at the office for scanning barcodes and QRCodes on our products.
