Absolutely Beautiful, warm, heavy, textured throw
This blanket is exactly what I was hoping. The colors are deep and vibrant, it is of substantial weight and has a wonderful knobby texture. It is not "scratchy" but soft with this heavy coarse texture that is wonderful. I have really soft microfiber blankets/throws for the kids that can be thrown in the washer/dryer, but I wanted something "grownup" with more texture and weight for me, and this is it. They have a distinctive odor when they arrive - which I happen to love, it reminds me of Egyptian rug/textile shops. I have other fabrics that have had this odor when new, so if you don't like it, hang them to air a while, it does go away. I am keeping mine folded in a trunk when not in use to hang on to that fragrance as long as possible, it is part of what I hoped for this blanket. I will be checking of additional blankets to add to my décor, and I would buy these again.

I purchased this blanket because it is “100% Cotton.”Today, I received my blanket. Big problem: The label reads 70% acrylic and 30% polyester. No cotton!!!
