Beautiful and Useful!
This stainless moka pot is beautiful and easy to use. I have had no issue with staining, but note that the inside of the bottom is not POLISHED stainless steel, so does appear dark. And stainless is not stain-free so make sure that when you wash it make sure you dry it right away. I have alkaline water where I live, so haven't had any issues at all. It makes two 10-ounce cups of strong near-espresso coffee and cleans up in a jif. We have one to take on vacation and it does work on a variety of burners...which is really great because you will get addicted to the strong, mellow coffee this creates. We have a Winco near us and use the Black Satin coffee beans. A morning ritual wherever we are!

One Moka Pot to Rule Them All
First, this item is huge, seems like a foot tall and bright and shiny—one Moka pot to rule them all.It makes about a pint (16oz.) of espresso. I Iike caffeine and drink that much in a day, but many others may not. I tried it with a smaller quantity of water and grounds, and it wasn't quite as good as when filled to capacity. It works fantastically on my induction range. Turn it on high, and you have a full pot in under 4 minutes. Also, it is rugged. I was inattentive this morning and set it back on an energized burner after pouring a cup. 15 minutes later, my wife asked if I wanted the burner still on. I expected a cooked Moka pot or at least a melted seal. Nope it is fine. Impressive. If you need and want a pint of espresso a day, this is the Moka pot for you.

My wife liked my coffee so much, I had to buy a larger pot.
I purchased the 4 cup, and after a month or two of use, my wife liked the coffee it made so much that I had to get a 10 cup pot to keep her from drinking it all.pro: easy to use on an electric range or propane burner. makes regular coffee or espresso.con: you need a brush with bristles on the tip to clean it properly, a sponge wont quite do it.quality: sturdy, but with a few sharp edges on the metal, especially around the top of the handle where the lid connects. (30 seconds with an emery board can fix this) it's easy to cut yourself if your hands are soapy and wet. Regular use for several months on gas and electric, and it still looks new.tip: remove it from the stove as soon as the coffee is done and do not wait till all the water is boiled out. this will discolor and damage the finish of the steel. there will be some water left in the lower half of the vessel after the coffee is done.

Good Product - better than Kitty version
I bought this in 10 cup and the kitty in 6 cup. I returned the kitty as it doesn't feel as well made, plus its capacity is lower. I male "mugs" of strong coffee and this will give you 2 mugs. It is NOWHERE near espresso, but it's darned good coffee if compared to most other brewing methods.Fill the bottom with hot water, the hopper with coffee and put it on the stove on a med-high heat until it sounds like a jet engine has taken off - then it's ready. The seal is silicone vs the Kitty which had a rubber seal that leaked steam. So if you are wondering which might be better, this one is.Condensate will drip down the handle, but it's never been hot when I touched it, even while cooking and it's not severe. My espresso machine was out to the shop for repair and I used this as a less expensive alternative until my machine got back. Overall, I like it but I'm back to using my espresso machine and this will go in the cabinet until it is needed.

Happy with this upgrade
I used a 6 cup version for years and finally decided I would upgrade in both the style (stainless) and the size (10 cup). It makes the best cup of coffee. I prefer this over all the other methods I've tried and own. The slightly larger size makes it so you can get two full regular cups of coffee or many more of the demitasse size. The only "complaint" is the lid is hinged/attached to the body in such a way that it blocks the interior so it's a little difficult to clean as you can't fit a hand inside.

Love my machines
The media could not be loaded. I have both a 6cup & a 10cup stove top Bialetti Espresso Makers. Fill water in the bottom chamber up to the safety valve shown. Place the funnel and add required coffee to it. Press it gently. Screw in the top chamber and set in on medium heat on an induction cooktop. I would assume, if it is electric or gas stove a medium low would work. Coffee takes approximately 6 mins for my six cup maker and 12 mins for my ten cup maker. The 6 cup was made in India, while the 10 cup was made in China. Nonetheless, both machines are made of stainless steel except for the rubber gasket. I have converted my Keurig crazed husband to stove top Bialetti Espresso Coffee. Enjoy the pictures & video posted.

The steam comes out near the black piece on the ...
The steam comes out near the black piece on the lid and leaks down the handle. I've scalded myself a couple of times thinking it was something I was doing incorrectly. It's not me, it's the pot.Updated review 4/3/17: I can no longer use the pot as the lid has fallen off. I carefully clean my pot and I don't have a dishwasher so that's not the problem. I have tried to screw it back on, but it doesn't stay. With the issue I've had with the leak and now the broken lid, I would never recommend this product. It was purchased in 11/16 so it's not old. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Delicious espresso for low cost!
We love this moka pot! Best morning coffee I have had! This pot makes a better espresso than my expensive espresso machine and is a fraction of the price! Cleaning is easy, works great on an induction stove and is super durable! We have been using it for seven months and it always delivers the best tasting morning cup of coffee!

Good size, very good taste
More time/effort than a French press, but, I think, a better result. It's a good sized machine, with enough capacity for two large mugs. Solid, well made. Recommended.
