Fabulous tool for organizing your life!
This is by far the most wonderful, useful planner I have every had! I love the vertically lined up days plenty of room for appointments and to-do lists. Great, great stuff! Last year, I got the coloring version of this book and it was a full 9x11 size (or something like that). It was great for room to write, and I loved it. Only problem was that it was a lot less portable. This planner is much more portable, but you lose some of the writing space. I think it's worth it though for me - especially now that I'm settled a bit into more of a routine with grad school (in undergrad I had a much more varied, crazy schedule with a bajillion things to do, now I have a more stable, crazy schedule with a million bigger things to do). In other words, if you have something happening every half-hour or less, go with the bigger version; it's worth it. If you need the planner to divide your day and remind you of deadlines and small to-do lists, this medium sized one is plenty. The only other major grind I have with this planner is that the columns aren't spaced exactly evenly, so the middle two have a lot more room than the others. Of course, this leaves room for you to not write in the quarter inch near the spiral, so some might like that. The positives far outweigh the negatives, though. You can decorate it however you want if you don't like the plain front. (I personally like it fine. It kinda settles me to have such a steady-looking thing telling me what to do next.) It has regular calendar pages and a page for goals each month (in categories like "personal," "relationships," and something else.) It has a solid plastic front and back to protect it from wear and tear, and the pages are good quality. Despite its (few) faults, this is a fabulous planner. I'm pretty sure I'm going to keep buying it every year until the end of time, and I'm very, very picky about my planners. I don't give things five stars for nothing!

The best planner layout yet!
This is my favorite planner I have owned so far. I love the format of the weeks, the monthly goal sections, and how simple the layout is. Each week gives you space for each day to write down to-dos and other notes and space with the hours in the day to write you agenda. I find this really has helped with my time management and visualizing what I have to do. There are lots of sections to write little notes in each month and week that are not for specific days and times.I typically have always owned smaller planners, but this time decided to get the 8.5" by 11" planner and I am really glad I did. I am a college student and almost always carry my backpack with me so having a full size notebook isn't an issue. The extra space is actually really nice and helps to keep things organized. If I don't have my planner with me I just make a note on my phone and add it in later.

A Planner with Exactly What is Needed... Not More.
Despite my age, I prefer a written calendar over my digital one for work. There is something about writing something down and crossing it out once completed that brings me great satisfaction. That being said, this is my favorite planner I have ever had! I just received my second one and will be ordering my third on next year. The spine is sturdy and the product is well built. It fits perfectly in my leather portfolio (which I got from Wal-Mart years ago). I like how it is exactly what it is, a MINIMALIST planner. You have your dates, days, months, and a few boxes for notes. It also divides the days by hour. There are no distracting designs throughout the pages and the color is not flashy. Perfect for everyday use! In the era of planners made by Erin Condren (which are excessive both in product and in price), this is something that is welcomed with open arms.

LIKE Layout DISLIKE thin paper
I purchased this planner last year, although I threw it away, I don't remember the pages being so thin. I do have to say I really like the simple layout as well as the area in the front for making goals. There is a lot of room to write in the weekly section, I just wish the paper was thicker.

Note: this is an academic year calendar
Beware this version is a July 2022- June 2023 calendar. If you're looking for an academic-year calendar this is a good one. However, I mistakenly purchased this version for 2023 and will be returning. I have been using the version, Jan-Dec for years and love it. I write things I must do for the week on post-it notes and place them on the top portion of the weekly page and write fixed appts. on the bottom portion. I move the post-it notes around, sometimes moving them to specific days or times depending how the week's event are changing. Helps me stay organized when a lot is happening and priorities are changing frequently.

Couldn't Ask for More: The Perfect Planner for a Busy College Student
This is quite possibly one of the best planners I have ever had. The dotted lines instead of solid lines are not only aesthetically pleasing, but they're not obnoxious like solid lines are and the whole inside of the planner feels less crowded. There is plenty of space (which I use more than I expected to) to jot down notes outside of the dated boxes. The dated boxes give a generous amount of space to keep track of everything I need to do in a day, and still leave enough room at the bottom for me to schedule my day from 7am to 10pm (and there is extra blank space below 10pm if you needed to go beyond that). Being a college student with two jobs, two club-officer positions, a gym schedule, and lots of homework, the schedule feature on the bottom helps me stay on top of all my responsibilities. BONUS: the entire front of it is blank, so you get to customize it however you please. I couldn't be happier with this planner. I will be purchasing the 2018-2019 planner for next school year when the time comes.
