I love this product and cannot wait for them to update the design. I have been an avid carbonated mineral water drinker for many years. When I realized how much sodium I was consuming I switched to another brand of soda maker. I was happy using that to carbonated my filtered water until this!This is a new product I thought I would try as it claims that you can carbonate things other than water (unlike their main competitor). I gave it a try.It needed a few starts to warm up for some reason - but the instructions covered the issue and it got going well. Turning caps were a bit stiff but loosened up with use. Although they did have to be DRY to work. I started with water. It was easy and super fizzy. Tasted like the water I put in to it. No aftertaste.I then tried to carbonate flavored waters. I put limes and lemons directly in the bottle before carbonating. And then some herbs and other fruit. Worked like a charm. In fact, I started using half a carbonation table to make them last longer and the light fizz was good.And then the magic! With friends we started carbonating various mixed drinks. Vodka and lemonade, rosé wine, sangria. It worked fine and we found a few good combinations. Turns out carbonated scotch is not my drink, but the cocktails were great and didn't require mixing of items or dilution with water.Worked best with things that were cold from the fridge. Warm liquids (or room temp) didn't turn out quite as well or as fizzy.I love that there are no canisters to return and I can get tablets delivered online. And I love that I don't just carbonate water that has to be mixed with flavors.Only downside is the look. It is fine, but seems like a bit of a prototype unit and I am hopeful that they will update it soon and make a little more sleek. But for now it looks fine as a white kitchen appliance. I keep it under the counter at home and will likely get another one for the cottage.

We're always buying bottles of sparkling water, and a friend told us about Bonne O. The first time using it was a bit tricky (I am a bit of dummy when it comes to kitchen gadgets) but we quickly (by the second time) learned how to make the right mix. Just in time for the birthday party on Sunday night! One bottle of pomegranate water, the other bottle a combination of lemon + ginger + mint. Make sure you have enough ice on hand, because everyone will want some!

I bought this so I didn't have to mess with canisters that needed to be filled or replaced. I bought new, but Amazon shipped me a used model that was broken, probably one someone had bought and returned. Bonne O replaced it directly, however, and the new machine works absolutely great! I've had this about three weeks. Easy to use, good carbonation and reasonable costs. I use chilled, filtered water from the refrigerator dispenser. Hook this up with some Top Hat tonic syrup and Hendricks gin and life gets much better. Enjoy!
