It's okay, but personally I'd buy a different light
For the price I'd expect it to be brighter. Also it is very annoying to zoom by twisting it. The manual ironically says push and pull to zoom but the flashlight uses twisting to adjust zoom. I'd be willing to pay a little extra and add a star if this flashlight actually did push/pull to zoom. It takes a long time to zoom all the way in and then all the way back out, such as you would do to check for something in the distance quickly. Build quality seems okay but it does feel a bit janky how the head wobbles. I assume it wobbles because of the large threads used for zooming.Overall, I wish I purchased a different flashlight. But it is by no means horrible. I am satisfied with how wide it throws and how far it zooms in. Very satisfied with battery life using two 26650s in it. I am also glad it is an even light without major artifacts until you zoom in all the way. When zoomed all the way in, the light has artifacts in the shape of a plus sign as the four individual LEDs come in focus.

Extremely BRIGHT, zoomable, 2 batteries, heavy.
Extremely BRIGHT (XHP50 LED), has memory for light modes, will turn on Hi Bright first click default. And will zoom down to tight beam, to image of LED (square shape). Zoom by turning ring near head. Heavy and long, not a pocket carrier. I'm using 18650 Lithium rechargeable batteries, takes 2 batteries. Has adapter plastic sleeves for 18650 use. Other wise uses (26650) larger size battery w/out the sleeves. Wish I bought first rather than all the other previous bought flashlights. [will be looking for same in 70 series led, I carry mini xhp35, not zoomable, is bright but not as bright as xhp50].

The flashlight is expensive. Batteries did not come with the item and it is difficult to purchase the batteries. Do not purchase this item.
