Great Beginner and Advanced Shooting Sight
I'm an experienced archer and bowhunter of 23 years. I've shot the most crude and primitive iron sights and I truly believe archery is something you develop a sense and feel for. This is the most advanced sight I've ever used and with the very fast bow I shoot, I need a sight that is capable of letting me be as pin point accurate as possible. I shoot groups no bigger than your fist at 40 yards so I can say I'm a good shot with a bow. What I like about this sight is that when you lock in the retina and get a black pupil in the center, you are good to go. A mere split second glance is all that it takes to know you are locked on and in good form. You now focus on your pins. If you are an experienced archer this may seem like alot, but its isn't. Old instincts kick in and you are in a good place. For the beginner, you need to be able to multi-task to succeed. With the level, retina sight and the pin alignment all happening at the same time, it can be daunting. This is where I'm glad I started old school. Finally, this is a great sight for the beginner or the advanced. I'm glad I got to learn the hard way from very crude sights and old aluminum arrows that flew like heavy logs. It makes me appreciate this marvel of accuracy. For the beginner, you will never want anything less.Consider yourself spoiled.

It's unbelievable how easy it is to realize poor technique with this site
My new setup is peepless, and for that reason I went with the IQ bowsight. The sight includes what's similar in behavior to a peep-eliminator, but much more clean. After setup I was immediately shooting tight groups. It's unbelievable how easy it is to realize poor technique with this site. The slightest tweak in my wrist, or my grip being too tight, throws the green dot off and my shot goes wild.I took down a deer this year going peepless with this sight. I give it four stars because i had to reverse the mounting bracket to fit the frame of my bow. I use a 2017 PSE Carbon Air. Switching the mounting bracket took some time, but I was able to figure it out. When the sight arrived the translucent cap was cracked. I'd have docked a star for that, but IQ service was quick to swap out the sight at no charge.

Definitely NOT a gimmick!
This sight was a major improvement to my sight I purchased about 5 years ago. The pins are about 1/3 the diameter, it has a 2nd mounting point so I can stick it out another couple inches, it has micro adjustment screws, and the iq retina lock function is great when bending at the waist for close shots from a tree stand. It quickly illustrated a torque issue that caused me to miss a nice buck the a couple weeks back. I love everything about this sight. I have a 28" draw and with my 3/16" peep I can barely see the level and the retina lock at the same time. I will change out to a 13/64 peep to fit the pin guard in my peep

It Truly Works!
The product is outstanding. It truly does work and this from a hunter that has traditionally shot with one larger mepro pin for 15 years. Adjusting the sight needs some technique and I found that through You tube.Basically mount the sight on and visually align the string with your rest by holding up you bow and get the general area. Then keep a allen wrench handy and draw your bow and anchor as you always do. look at the Retina eye and then move around your anchor until you see the pupil align in the center. Adjust the screws and draw again. Do this till its square and the black pupil is center. Then get close to the target and shoot. Begin to adjust the sight to zone in. This is the ONLY time you will need to again tweak the retinal eye to square it up. So with each sight adjustment, draw the bow and make sure the eye is back in line. Doing this is the way to assure your retinal eye and sights are both true. I shoot with a peep and you will see the retinal eye no problem. But you will shoot about 10 times and it will become a peripheral thing. Hard to explain but its intuitive for me.I gave it a 5 star because I think the unit is solid, has a great feature in the retinal optic and built well. Its a composite construction and its about average for the weight. The adjustments are easy to learn and the micro small tips of the pins allow me a better placement of the pin on the target VS the large pin I was shooting. Three pin design is all I need to shoot out to 60 yards. The retinal centering option will give you better shooting accuracy out at longer yardages on average. The only notes I can add for consideration to help you is when you loosen to adjust and re tighten the sight for your pins it will need you to draw the bow before you shoot to assure the retinal eye is back in line - some larger adjustments will move that alignment eye for you. But it makes sense. Also the micro adjustment knobs will move your sight when you lock them down. So you will need to compensate that slight adjustment to allow the ppin to settle in its spot when its all locked down. Its truly not that much of an issue.Like everything else - SPEND THE TIME to learn and practice. I have shot 100 arrows with it. Once you do your adjusting and your shooting wuper tight groups, your done. Its s set it and forget it. Make sure your components are tight and your shooting like a champ!
