I used the ULIGOTA pet backpack for the first time to take my cat to the vet. It was easy to open. Opening consisted of putting the sides up and zipping them up. It was easy to get the cat into the backpack. In south Louisiana it is not uncommon to have to evacuate from a hurricane. You have to take your animals with you. I wanted something light weight to use in that possibility. In an evacuation, you have to take what you might need for several days and putting your pet in a backpack frees up your hands. It has several pockets for storing pet supplies. I do love my cat but I feel having it printed in large letters on the backpack seems a little bit tacky. Speaking of tacky, I am not a fan of the orange and grey color scheme. Overall, the backpack is well constructed and easy to use. The backpack is a superior product especially when compared to a standard plastic carrier.

It took me about 20 minutes or so to warm up to this pet carrier. Couple things I noticed I was not really fond of but everybody is different so, ok. It really is pretty nice overall. Seems roomy enough for most average cats or really small dogs. Depending on your cats mood can be loaded from either end with nice mesh closures.( I think it should also have the roll up privacy screen like the front has) Also has a much larger loading area as the whole front section will unzip and fold down. Not a big fan of the large lettering on the front “LOVE PET” ? Couple pouches on the front for storage, I thought something was wrong with the snap on the larger one, it is actually magnetized, so go figure. Has a very nice sturdy handle on the top. I guess there may be some people that take their pets hiking? But I am not a big fan of the large straps for carrying on your back. Ok, leave the straps, just have them so they could be easily removed. There is a way to sort of tuck them away on the back, but removing would be ideal. Couple nitpicks but overall a decent pet carrier. I am only able to give it 4🌟’s and if the couple things I noted you have no issues with, it would be a great choice for a pet carrier.
