Always happy with Rico
I have bought this brand of Reed for the last 20 odd years. The price is good and the reeds last a while before wearing out or getting too grubby.I’ve always found these soft and easy to use. They give a nice consistent sound and I don’t find them too buzzy. Now I’m a Mum with 3 children, I don’t get much time to play and suffering with asthma I don’t have the puff like I used to. These still allow me to play without working too hard. They are great for beginner players.The only downside I’ve found is they are so easily chipped from the smallest of bumps. But other than that they’re a great quality Reed that can last a while at a great price.

usual rico thing - good reeds but there's often just one that doesn't become a favourite...
Rico are expensive. "As good as" can be found, and a lot cheaper, if you hunt for them, but at least with these you know what you will be getting.Just taken up sax again and so using soft reeds.... but will no doubt need stronger reeds very soon so can't comment on 'durability' .

They make my sax sound really cool, and there's no annoying squeaky noise. Plus, they came super fast from Amazon.If you need to get me some sax stuff, these reeds are the way to go. They're not too pricey and make my music sound way better
