The media could not be loaded. Utterly obsessed with this set!! I can’t believe how fantastic it is for how affordable it is. The instructions were excellent, pieces are nearly the size of actual Lego bricks, and the assembly/fit is tight and secure. The coolest thing is the brick that lights up to ACTUALLY project one of three little “film strips” that come with the set. In addition to the light, the functioning cranks add so much realism. The details of all the knobs, buttons, levers, switches, gears give this a more authentic look. And the decals/stickers, combined with the accented silver pieces, make this product look like it could be a $200+ set sold by the name brand company. As a LEGO lover **AND** avid collector of antique/vintage cameras, I’m obsessed with this one!!!

I was gifted this set and was a bit skeptical as I typically stick with the named brand building block sets. This was very unique and fit into a display case where I had various camera items, including some from Lego, in addition to some collector cameras. I have to say this set is at least as well thought out and manufactured as the name brand if not better! It has great detail and was very fun to build. The box is exceptionally giftable and similar to the name brand sets, the pieces are in numbered bags. The instruction book is very well laid out and looks quite elegant as well. There were no missing pieces and only a small number of extras when finished. I also really enjoyed that all of the decals were already on the pieces and didn't require any finicky application of stickers. Everyone that has seen the finished model have expressed awe and really find it a beautiful display piece. I genuinely cannot think of anything that I would change - great set at a reasonable price for the size and number of pieces!

I’ve never gotten an off-brand Legos kit, so my expectations on quality were low. I actually couldn’t tell the difference other than the $50 price difference!I wasn’t aware that it lit up until I accidentally twisted the light button. That was a surprise! It doesn’t project really well, but it’s still really cool!The instructions were easy to follow. They were in Chinese, but the graphics were good enough.My only complaint was there were four bricks missing. They were all the same brick, but I was able to leave them out with no problems in the look or function.I would recommend this kit!!! By the way, I’m 66 years old. You would have thought I was a six year old opening it Christmas morning!

This kit was fun to build and looks very nice on display. Directions were mostly easy to follow, just take some time to figure out what color piece corresponds to the directions. It can be determined by looking at the unique pieces in the kit before you get started.Not too hard to build, nothing super challenging.

I have had the big L name movie camera set based on the Disney anniversary on my wishlist for a while. I never pulled the trigger because of the price though. The AKWME Retro Camera brick set is a fantastic replica at a fraction of the price.The set comes in a nice box that is very giftable. The bricks come in numbered bags and there is an easy to follow manual. The brick colors in the manual, however, can be hard to discern since some of the colors are off in the pictures vs. the actual brick color. If half stars were allowed, I would deduct one for this fact. The steps are easy to follow since none require a large number of bricks at any one time.The entire build was relatively easy but connecting some of the legs can be sensitive. The age range states 6+ years which is a bit optimistic without adult assistance. The end result, which is almost an identical model to the L brand set, looks great. While I will be keeping it as a display piece, the working lights and projection are a very cool addition and I think kids would love it. If you are a fan of the house of the mouse or just a retro camera buff, this is a great set. It looks just like the original and, at only $30, it comes in at a fraction of the cost.

Fun to assemble, though a lot of the time is combing through the piles searching for the right parts. The finished product looks great but the projection is next to useless, you have to put it really close (an inch) to the wall to get a readable projection. Looks great though.

I’ve waited a few months start this puzzle and finally sat down to it only to start with missing parts. Literally several parts for step 1 are missing. I like to empty the parts into bins so that they don’t roll away or drop to the floor. Went finely through bags 1-3 and cannot find the parts needed.

When I saw this, I thought this would be a pretty cook build when it done. And I wasn't wrong. It was fun to build even thought I had some problems getting some pieces together and the instructions didn't have true colors to the pieces so it was a little confusing. But once I got it done, I was so happy that it worked. I love the pictures it showed. I haven't seen a build like this so it adds extra flare to my shelf. 10/10. It was an awesome piece.
