ToloFirst Friends Car

I bought one of these when my son was only 9 months old. He is now fast approaching 2 yrs old and still loves it. Very very durable as he has thrown it about, tried to stand on it and even sat on the plastic windscreen, all with no damage. For the price it is a great toy to buy for your child or as a present for someones elses.

My 11 month old son loves this toy. His Great Grandparents surprised us one day with it when my boy was 9 months old. It's quite large, it's very noisy and it's kinda weird with the little baseball cap driver, the way the car bounces on it's suspension, the screech of the tyres when it pulls away (sound effect) and the maniacal laughter at the end. It's like 'my first joyrider', that's just my impression.From the moment my son saw this however it was love at first sight. It's big enough for him to be able to pick up, handle and interact with. He uses the rear spoiler to push the car around the floor and it encourages him to be mobile. The buttons for the car and horn encourage dexterity and memory (he remembers how to make all the noises) and the little man is robust enough to be thrown around and dropped. The man itself is a fun toy on its own. The tolo car is always one of the first toys to get played with each day, and that alone is a measure of its success.Overall this is a very well made, fun and stimulating toy for young minds. If you can handle the noise your child will love the Tolo car. In reference to the comment above we have wooden floors and the car drives nicely across those. What does surprise me is that when it's been activated and my son is leaning on it the car doesn't seem to complain. Often with toys like this if a child moves it the wrong way or adds resistance you can hear the crunching of gears, the tolo car doesn't seem to mind this tough love.

We bought one of these quite a few years back for our older son. It was strong and durable and took a lot of punishment. Our boy loved it, and later our daughter came along and she loved it too. Unfortunately with the passing of time the various noises and lights stopped working. That was the case even with new batteries.We bought this 2nd one recently. There were defects with it in regard to the sounds and the battery compartmet flap would not hold up, hence the batteries would be exposed and drop out, not ideal with a toddler who puts everything in his mouth. We simply returned it and wer refunded the money we had paid for it.

I bought this car for my 1yr. old Grandson. At first it seemed fun, it made noises, revved the engine and laughed!It also had a driver with clicky limbs and squeaky tummy. However the car never moved very well which was disappointing. To be fair Amazon were willing to exchange it but had no stock so the parents decided to keep it as the baby played with it anyway. However, I felt it should have worked better considering the price paid for a "good" make of toy.

Plus d'un an que je l'ai offert à mon petit fils.. il marche encore.. quand on connaît mon petit fils c'est un gage de qualité.. solide, attrayant avec ses couleurs. le personnage livré avec est amusant... seul bémol le rire stupide quand la voiture arrête de rouler.. vraiment inutile et énervant... sinon très bon produit.

Le jouet est en plastique très solide mais malheureusement les cosses étaient défectueuses elles étaient rouillées donc la voiture ne fonctionnait pasTrès décevant
